The store is clean and organized. An employee is always easy to find and happy to help. I have utilized specialists in almost every department at this store and have no complaints. Best HD location I've been to here to California. Great Job Canon City! I was passed among 3 employees, none seemed to know anything about appliances. I was told I would have to buy two different gas dryer kits since the employee did not know which was the right one. I was over charged more than $300.00 (employee missed the sales price). I went to another store (Woodman and Powers in Colorado Springs) to see if they could sort it all out and they refused to help. Told me I should have come to their store. I called back to the Canon City store and Jean was able to refund me the over charge and extra dryer kit.
This is the friendliest Home Depot. Its like visiting friends while shopping. They are helpful and nice. Store is always clean and stocked with what I need. Items are readily available, customer service is offered in every department. Special order is an added benefit with fast delivery time. be prepared, do your research and know what you need and be very patient the manager in the paint department is not very well trained. if she can't find it on the computer it dose not exist. taking in a paint to be color matched can be very confusing if not imposable. I ended up going at night while she wasn't their and the man behind the counter done it in seconds. If you need help finding what you want -(appliances) -talk to Jerry Gorsky, Appliance Specialist. He helped us find what we needed at the price we expected! Chris (He) is a friendly very helpful worker from start to finish. The appliance associates where great. Helped me out when I wanted to make some changes to my order the next day.
