She is nicknamed ‘tumbleweed,’ we're not sure why as she does not resemble a tumbleweed. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a black slash in Kung Fu and is trained in five other martial art styles. Basically she’s an absolute pro at anything martial arts related and we are not. How dare you ask. But if you must know, she was born on January 12th 1984, so she’s 32. She was born and raised in New York City.
She started taking circus classes aged 6, as you do. At 9 she started doing gymnastics, and went on to do competitive gymnastics for six years. She started her stunt career in 1997 after appearing on several television shows and films, including X-Men and Bridesmaids. On season 7 in 2015, she couldn’t make it past Stage One because her leg strength wasn’t strong enough. Then, in season 8 (the most recent) she became the first women in American Ninja Warrior history to make it up the 14 1/2-foot warped wall and complete Stage One.
