Our trained Dreams service assistants will deliver your order to the room of choice. As standard practice our two-man delivery team will wear overshoes throughout the delivery process to protect your property, and will walk the route from the property entrance to the room of delivery to ensure there are no obstacles in the way that could be damaged in the delivery process. If you purchased a divan or mattress our delivery service assistants will remove all packaging and take this away to be recycled (please note bed frame unpacking requires the Assembly Service option available at the checkout). We offer a 6 day delivery service Monday-Saturday between 8am-6pm. On the day of delivery you will receive a phone call from your Dreams delivery team before 10.30am to confirm a two-hour delivery slot to save you waiting around all day. Delivery is free on all orders over £100. Delivery is £4.95 for all orders under £100. For Saturday delivery there is a surcharge of £19.
FURNITURE DELIVERY - FREE To ensure your beautifully crafted furniture arrives in perfect condition it will be delivered directly by our specialist supplier, Wiemann. Furniture orders are usually delivered within 8-10 weeks You will receive confirmation that the supplier is dealing with your order within 5 working days of placing your order. Wiemann will then be in contact 4-6 weeks after the initial order date to arrange delivery. Your furniture will be delivered to your room of choice, assembled and all packaging will be removed. Delivery times are between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. BEDDING DELIVERY - £4.95 (FREE ON ORDERS OVER £100) Our bedding and accessories will be delivered by courier service. The courier will provide tracking information so you can keep an eye on the progress of your new purchase. Items are usually delivered within 5 working days. It has a chaise lounge added on the end, so it’s extra long, fitting our extra-long living room wall perfectly.
Plus the hubs and I can snuggle up on it together and there’s even room for a kidlet (or two). Well, after two years of lovin’, my beloved couch was starting to show some wear. The notorious mystery spots were starting to appear and some wrinkles and sags were forming in the cushions. Fortunately, my couch has zippers on every cushion, so the covers can easily be removed and washed. (If you’re in the market for a couch, I would highly recommend this feature.) So in order to accomplish Mission: Couch Rejuvenation, my first step was to toss the covers in the washing machine. Since the cushions for the back were packed with loose polyester fiberfill, I bagged and labeled each bunch of “fluff” separately so I wouldn’t get confused when it came time to re-stuff. Ask me why I know now to do this. As illustrated in the first photo, the cushions had lost some of their oomph, so I purchased a bag of quilt batting ($9.99 at Walmart) to wrap over the cushions to re-boost their fluff-ability. Y
hat’s the technical term. 😉 I simply trimmed the batting and wrapped it around each of the bottom cushions. I even found extra polyester fiberfill in my basement that I took out of some old throw pillows. I used that to boost the fluff-ability of the back cushions. Honestly, I would have liked to have another bag of quilt batting to line the back cushions. I think that would have given it a smoother look and reduced any lumpiness. But I didn’t want to run back to the store to get another bag. Ne After cleaning the covers and beefing up the cushions, my couch now looks as good as new.
