Participation in an International Scientific Conference

Senior Lecturer (Acting Associate Professor) Nargiza Nabikhodjayeva of the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering Technologies, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, took part in the

“2025 International Conference on Eco-Textiles (The Belt and Road) — ICET 2025”, held on December 21–22, 2025, at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China.

The conference was dedicated to the theme “Eco-textiles, educational connectivity, and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

The event was organized by Jiangnan University in cooperation with:

— the Innovation and Foreign Expertise Attraction Base for Key Technologies of Ecological Textile Recycling

— Jiangsu International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Center

— Wuxi Association for Science and Technology

Nearly 200 scholars, industry experts, and company representatives from Belt and Road partner countries, including China, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Mali, discussed prospects for the development of eco-textiles and international cooperation.

As part of the conference program, participants visited the Folk Costume Center of the School of Textile Science and Engineering and the Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center for Knitting Technologies at Jiangnan University.

They also visited the university’s external “Excellent Engineers” practice bases — Wuxi First Cotton Textile Group and Zhangjiagang Guotai Huasheng Industrial Co., Ltd., where they became acquainted with advanced production and management practices of China’s textile industry.
