In addition to curbside collection, the solid waste and recycling divisions provide specialized services such as bulk collections and roll-off container service. The city’s collection fleet consists of 19 residential and commercial collection trucks, four roll-off container trucks, four special services trucks, four pickup trucks and one fleet service truck.
The city’s solid waste and recycling divisions have the additional responsibility to oversee the city’s disaster debris management program. Any customer who is not able to bring garbage and recyclables to the curb may call 486-2422 to inquire about a special service.
