Square Nail is a boutique furniture store in the Logan Square area, Chicago, dedicated to creating new designs from reclaimed materials. With a shared storefront that doubles as the workshop and the showroom, we are able to create anything you can imagine for your home, office or business space. Square Nail also sells reclaimed wood by the square foot. We have a large supply of reclaimed oak, pine, beams, and siding for your project, either commercial or residential.  We also deal in live edge slabs in various woods.Square Nail sources wood such as walnut, white & red elm, oak, and pine from knocked- down and abandoned barns. The knotty, warped, often nail-punctured boards, bring appreciated beauty and personality to each piece they create. Other found materials such as copper tubing, rusted metal, and copper plates, add history and texture into their work.Collaborating with a stain glass artist, hand wood turner, and an iron welder, you can find an assortment of lamps, benches, tables, butcher-blocks, kitchen islands, vanities, vases, stained glass windows, mirrors and frames.

All items are uniquely designed and range from the clean & sleek, to the rustic & heavy. But one of the most unique aspects of Square Nail is that it is divided into showroom and wood shop. While they have created a number of pieces to demonstrate skill and generate ideas, at Square Nail they love to work with their customer to create a collaborative, custom piece. Everything is done onsite and the customer can be involved in every step of the process.Reclaim Renew is a sustainable, custom reclaimed wood furniture creator for homeowners that want to complete their space with something special. Something with a story. We transform living spaces into gathering places by creating beautiful, timeless reclaimed wood furniture pieces from local barn wood that reflect your unique style and personality.  Most of our furniture is created from the wood of 100-year-old barns and is custom-designed to suit your home or office needs. While your guests will surely admire it, you’ll enjoy how it reflects your personality even more.

Each nail, knothole, scratch and imperfection of the reclaimed lumber material adds to the character of each piece, making your reclaimed furniture the focal point of any room and a timeless investment you’ll cherish for a lifetime. And much like the memories you’ll make in your home, your furniture is guaranteed to be one of a kind. "I was looking for a table made out of reclaimed wood and I couldn't be more pleased with the table Reclaim Renew built for me." - Becky - Kirkwood, MO Crafted from wood salvaged from a 1890's barn, this dining table became the focal point of our client's dining room. Pairing this rich piece of barnwood with a restored fireplace resulted in a distinguished and inviting look. Made for a western-themed child's room, this reclaimed wood toy box will be handed down for generations. This intricately designed round concrete table has a beautiful barnwood base and fits perfectly in its new home. See what you can make from all the scraps that we keep.

This accent wall is a hit in this beautiful old Webster Groves home.  To maximize seating this client made a great choice to go with a trestle base. The breadboard ends are a great touch as well.  2145 Barrett Station Rd 63131 (northwest corner of Barrett Station and Manchester) Click Here for directions Showroom Hours - Tues-Fri 9-4 Sat 10-1 Sun-Mon Closed.
