The Stone Cottage Trellis Collection 5-Piece Daybed set in scarlet is a beautiful quilt set made of nice quality materials. I have washed it several times and the stitching has stayed in place with no strings coming out or ravelled ends. The Daybed I use this set on has a trundle and I ended up buying two bedsheets to go long with it. For the top mattress I purchased Cathay Home Fashions Luxury Silky Soft Brushed Microfiber Twin Sheet Set in Cream and for the bottom mattress I purchased the Cathay Home Fashions Luxury Silky Soft Brushed Microfiber Twin Sheet Set in Burgundy which is a perfect match to the Scarlet color. When I sit on it, it compresses to less than a third it's height.I might almost compare it to sleeping on a water bed but without the waves - though only in the sense of how much you will sink into the matress, not anything about comfort.. However, I've sleep on a water bed and it was firmer - much. Having said that, you wouldn't feel any coils on a water bed, and you can AND YOU WILL on this.I bought a ExceptionalSheets Extra Plush Fitted Mattress Pad, Queen to compensate for feeling the coils, in part anyway.
