Press and hold that button until LED on remote lights up. Then on the back panel of your garage door opener, press the program button. Program light should turn on. Back to your remote, press the button that you are going to use and release if the LED light on the remote turns off. You will be doing this 9 times. After the ninth press, the door will try to move so make sure nothing is in the way. It will also be best if the door is closed when you are trying to program.
