crDroid 8.8 | Bugs and Notes | 05.09.22

Global bugs:

• Screencasting via Miracast not working.
• Built-in screen recorder works only in 30 FPS.
• Home/Recent apps gesture may stuck (very rare).
• Some USB audio devices (USB headphones, USB-DAC, etc.) may not work.
• Sound from speaker and microphone can sometimes disappear (very rare). Reboot fixes the problem.
• Main/AUX camera's sensors detection in system incorrect (for example not working 64mp).
• Slow-motion, time-lapse modes and EIS may not work properly.

ROM/Device-side bugs:

• Vibration strength can automatically reset itself to Low (probably issue in diff choices for Ring/Notifications/Haptic).

Notes:

• To get ViPER work correctly, enable «Legacy mode» in the application settings.
• ANXCamera will crash after the first two launches — this is intended. Also Portrait and Night mode not working there.
• It's highly recommended to do not change kernel. It may cause performance/battery life issues and bugs with SELinux, FM Radio, Thermal Profiles, etc.
