REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST For

The Consultancy Service of Road Projects

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia represented by the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) has allocated funds and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund towards the cost of Consultancy Services for the following road projects.

The Ethiopian Roads Authority now invites suitably qualified consulting firms to submit an expression of interest for the above Services.

Expressions of interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Property Administration Proclamation of the Government of the Federal

The Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
Participation is open to all eligible consulting firms.
For Local Applicants;
* Exception for the second project in the above Table 1, local applicants shall note that the applicants' capacity will be checked from the company profile already submitted by consultants and/or from the database available on ERA website, Engineering Procurement Page (www.era.gov.et). Any applicants who did not upload their Company Profile previously are advised to do so before submitting their Expression of Interest. Therefore, applicants are only required to submit a letter expressing their interest by indicating the specific project.

Whereas, all local applicants for the second project in the above Table 1; shall submit their Company profile along with their expression of interest letter. The criteria that will be used to assess the expression of interest include; Eligibility, Performance record of the firm on ongoing or completed projects contracted with ERA/or other, Experiences (General and Specific), Annual turnover for Consultancy Service, Company Establishment, Number and diversity of permanent personnel related to the service and knowledge and experience in the region.

For Foreign Applicants;

Applicants shall submit their Company profile along with their expression of interest letter. The criteria that will be used to assess the expression of interest include; Eligibility, Performance record of the firm on ongoing or completed projects contracted with ERA/or other, Experiences (General and Specific), Annual turnover for Consultancy Service, Company Establishment, Number and diversity of permanent personnel related to the service and Knowledge and experience in the region.
The required information in the expression of interest submission forms shall be completed, while submission of Company profile for the second project in the above

Expressions of Interest submission:

Local applicants who are interested to apply for the first project in the above Table 1, Expressions of Interest letter must be delivered in electronically to the address below on or before June 08, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.

Applicants who are interested to apply for the second project in the above Table 1, must deliver their Expressions of Interest document electronically to the address below on or before June 15, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.
N.B: -

Applicants who would like to participate in the association shall indicate the form of association specifically as sub-consultancy or joint venture.
The performance record of firms will be assessed and considered for the shortlisting on the projects.
For local Applicants required having Grade I Category Relevant Professional Practice Certificates renewed for at least 2012 EC from authorized bodies except for Construction Management Consultants which is Grade II Category Relevant Professional Practice Certificates renewed for at least 2012 EC.
