Invitation to Bid

Hiwot Integrated Development Organization (HIDO) Invites sealed bids from registered eligible bidders of construction BC-6 or above for the construction of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Center.

This invitation to bid is open to all interested eligible bidders of construction BC-6 and above. The bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure, specified in the bid document. The bid evaluation and award shall be determined in ac cordance with the provisions indicated in the bid document. The bid document is prepared in English Language.

The bid document may be purchased by eligible bidders from HIDO'S head office (from the address indicated below) with non refundable cash payment of ETB 100.00 (one hundred birr only) and upon at presentation of:- trading license renewed for 2012; tax clearance 04 certificate valid at bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender; VAT registration certificate; and. registration as supplier in the list of tbe mandated public body, i.e. Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA).
Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days plus 28 days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid proposal after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 25,000.00 (twenty five thousand birr only). The bid security must be in the form of CPO/Un is om in only. The bid conditional Bank Guarantee from Recognized Bank in Ethiopia.

This bid will stay opened for 7 consecutive calendar days starting from the day it appears on the newspaper and the final submission date will be on the 7th day of this announcement Time:- Afternoon 3:00 PM (9:00 local time) or the earlier. No electronic submissions are accepted. Lately submitted bids will be automatically rejected.
Bids will be opened on June 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM (4:30 local time) at HIDO's Head Office (at the address given below), in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.
HIDO reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
