WHAT DO I THINK? | The New Year Massacre
Stegon98
A long time ago, I wrote an article in 2017 entitled Cosa ne penso dei Fuochi d'artificio?, in which I explained in detail what I think of the fireworks and why they should be abolished and, unfortunately, the situation has not changed, because of the tradition but also for stubbornness and ignorance, despite the Raggi Administration having made it clear over and over again that they were forbidden, but no! A New Year's Eve without fireworks would be blasphemy...
When I said that the fireworks cause more damage than you can imagine, I was not doing a hyperbole and the massacre that took place in Via Cavour (in Rome), with an immeasurable number of birds squatting in the ground is the confirmation!
"Eh but noooo! Look, there are only fireworks every year!"
No! The fireworks are not only on New Year's Eve, but in festive events in general: Birthdays, (Night) Weddings, Festivals and others which I don't have in mind...
"EH! But look, the birds died because of 5G!"
Again? Enough! It has been since the arrival of Covid-19 that the conspiracy theorists take it out on the radio antennas which, according to them, transmit this virus. When will they understand that 5G is a telecommunications protocol and that Covid-19 is not a computer virus but a biological one? Maybe you'd better not browse strange websites anymore where they let you download the worst malware to your computer uuuuh!
"EH! But my pet is not afraid of fireworks, he/she is even delighted with it!"
Okay okay... for sure your dog, cat, rabbit and even dinosaur was not scratched by the fireworks... but all the other animals? For us humans (I want to remind you that we are animals too) it is not a big problem to hear the fireworks (I know this is not the case for everyone, but let me generalize), because they have been designed to be subject to a right threshold for sensitivity of our hearing, not taking into account the sensitivity of the hearing of other animals, where some of these have this misfortune to have the most sensitive hearing and, therefore, for them, hearing the festive bangs is more or less the our equivalent of constantly hearing the noise of a horn at a distance of one meter, painful and also annoying for our ears.
What then, even for newborns it would not be a nice pleasure to hear the bangs, since their hearing sensitivity is greater than that of an older person.
Let me know what you think about it...
