We went for a long weekend meaning to check out on Monday. Saturday morning I wake with like 20 red bumps on my arms hands. Had no clue what it was. So I thought maybe a rash. Woke up on Sunday morning early to find 2 little red bugs. One on the pillow an one on my arm. My husband put them into a sand which baggie we had. Then I Google because you hear all over on the news about bed bugs but I had no clue what they look like. An sure enough BED BUGS. shows the owner and he was rude and very nasty. Even implied that we brought them with us. So of course I was leaving right that second . And he would not refund the money.
So my weekend ended with having to wash EVERYTHING in scolding hot water and drying them. Even the clean clothes. My advice to not go to this hotel. White truck on 11/19/2014 I also stayed there in October 2014 I am covered with bedbugs lice and I believe there's feces on the wall The owner is the most rude person I ever met we're not refund my money and cussed me and called me an American piece of shit that I was a piece of crap just there for a free ride rmczar on 10/14/2014I stayed two nights, 10/10/14 and 10/11/14. On Monday 10/13/14 I noticed marks on my arms, legs, back, torso and neck. I thought I had a rash, since I was taken a new medication, out of concern I went to an Urgent Care to have this checked out. The doctor told me it was bed bug bites, about 250 bites. Since then I looked at pictures of bed bug bites online, sure looks the same. Needless to say I will not be staying at the Fairfield Ohio Carriage Inn any time soon. I should have known $50 a nigh t was too good to be true, but I guess sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
I have no reason to post something mean or untrue about this Carriage Inn, but I do feel a bit of a victim here. I just though others should know and perhaps the owners of the Inn will clean it up so this does not happen to some on else. Uncle Sam on 03/03/2012Many times there are nasty customers. They want to sleep and enjoy their stay and then they come up with the story of Bed Bugs. We are the best motel in its class here in Fairfield. You get lot more for your money here. King / Queen beds, Good Mattresses, Clean rooms, Quality supply, Large TVs with Jacks for DVD - Games, Friendly service - and let me assure you 24 hr service - Our phones are open 24 hrs - If we have NO VACANCY, the office may be close - and here is your testim ony - we must had NO Vacancy that day - Full "premium" Cable with CNN, ESPN and HBO - Fiber Optics Super High Spped - 20 meg download / 15 meg upload spped, wi-fi at no charge available in all rooms........seriously as I said..........The Best in its Class...........what more could you ask for .....for the economy price you are paying
