눉Sadly when we registered I realised that we would not be getting what I has requested and had previous verbal confirmation of (a ground floor room with separate shower). However the reception staff were understanding and tried to help us and even offered to help us find alternate accommodation if that is what we wanted. We decided to stay, as we really liked the hotel and restaurant facilities and with the help of the staff managed to have a lovely three night stay using the shower once as it was very difficult to get in and out of the bath. However, we doubt we will return as - a lift to the upper floor would have sorted our problem because all the other rooms have separate showers. There were also a couple of cleaning and maintenance issues however they which were dealt with immediately I mentioned them.눇The food was really tasty, well presented, and left you wanting to return for more. We stayed 3 nights and ate each evening, wonderful food -good service. 눉The electrics were a problem.
Lamp would only work when main light was on and one of the bed lights even though they changed the bulb it stopped working after five minutes.눇Clean,very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Would stay there again. 눉The mattress was broken on one side. Springs totally collapsed which meant your body was reaching the bed base on sitting or lying. This was reported to reception upon leaving. 7 mins running the shower for hot water then I gave in. Friends said it took a while..... The shower would not have rinsed shampoo off our thick hair anyway as not at all powerful enough. 눉The loud water pump that started at 6am and continued until I checked out, cycling on and off with a boom every 30 seconds. The curtains not blocking out the car park lights, poor wifi signal, TV bolted to the wall without any adjustment making it an annoyance to watch from bed눇Clean bedroom and shower, showing its age though. Very polite and professional staff, good food. 눉When checking in the process was painless however there was no guidance given.
ie, breakfast times etc I had to go back to reception and ask if the wifi was working as I couldnt log on. I was then given the wifi code. I would have thought this should have been given out when checking in, however the wifi worked well once I had the code. I had problems with the first room as the fan was stuck on and after mentioning this to reception and waiting nearly an hour no one came to resolve the issue. I returned to reception to enquire about what was happening and was told that it was busy and they could help me at this time to fix the problem. I was then given a new room. Unfortunatley the new room also had issues as the radiator wa stuck on. I didn't bother to complaiin again and just got on with it. Breakfast was ok but there was again no instructions, or guidance as I would expect. Explanation of the process, where the tea and coffee was and how to help myself to the cereals etc or where they were. Very poor customer service. I had to ask for everything rather than being told.
