There is a Taco Bell, Burger King and Diner (The Horseless Carriage) within walking distance. It has a pool but no jacuzzi. Nice king size bed on the sixth floor. The difference was great. When I walked into the hotel the atmosphere and decor was fresh, slightly more modern, and inviting. The staff was pleasant and helpful. And a woman was outside my door calling her dog and husband all night and morning, not bothering to lower her voice at all. And when I checked in I was told there were no other rooms available (he had asked me if I wanted to see the room first, but if I didn't like it there was no other option), but when I went to try and get more towels he had somehow found a room for a walk-up customer who needed a room for she and her mother.
