눉Nothing, everything was perfect.눇From start to finish, I had a very relaxing stay. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made me feel very welcome. Check-in was very quick and I even received a "welcome gift". My room was lovely, on the ground floor as I'd requested. The bathrooms have all been refurbished and everything was spotless. I had a couple of drinks and a snack in the bar, then returned to my room. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, a very polite and helpful waitress showed me to my table and took my order. The food was lovely - I wish I'd had 2 slices of the black pudding! Check-out was very easy - again, a very friendly duty manager. I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Northampton. 눉Some areas looking a little tired눇Staff very welcoming and attentiveBed was very hard, noisy because of the lifts, TV was so far away from the bed it was difficult to see it. Disgusted to see breakfast pots still in the hall way after 10.00pm when we returned.

Superb value for money. 눉If i really have to say anything negative...Maybe the heating could be a little less noisey... and that's being really picky. It honestly didn't even bother me that much.눇Everything. The comfortable beds, the huge rooms, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the staff were incredible and so friendly. The TV packages are brilliant and the breakfast was spot on! I would absolutely stay here again! Brilliant hotel and staff. 눉Rooms are tired and could do with a freshen up눇Great size executive suite for £60 pre booked rate - modern bathroom 눉£15 for a very bad burger. Menu (food and drink) is over-priced for what you get. Might stay here again if I have to be in the area, but will not eat here again.눇Bed very comfortable. 눉Very disappointing breakfast Saturday am @ peak time of 9.15 only 1 Chef on duty resulting in wait for fried eggs which appeared only egg option. There was only 1 hash brown & 1 slice of black pudding available when I went to serve myself. Bacon looked over cooked & baked beans congealed.눇Helpful, friendly Reception Staff, also Bar staff.Clean hotel with helpful,friendly staff. 눇We had a lovely large bed and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was also very good, 눇Bed was comfy and room was very clean 눉Pedro on reception who would not take my word that all 12 rooms were paid for and refused to look at my Amex statement and continually threatened to throw me out of hotel for being rude despite me not swearing at all. 5 minutes later he is knocking on my door to say the one disputed room was paid but that I was still being rude. The location is a bit far out the city but the service and quality of staff compensate. Breakfast is freshly cooked with a good selection of food. I recommend this hotel. Northampton seems to be very busy in terms of hotel trade so perhaps Holiday Inn hasn't felt the need to update to stay ahead of competitors as demand outstrips supply.
