Public sculpture and drinking fountain created, in part, with 19th-century railroad tracks found during excavation for Track 29. The fountain is part of a public plaza where Greenway users and neighbors will gather. This Midtown Greenway trail, adjacent to Track 29, was built in the 1880s as part of the Milwaukee Road railway system. In the 2000s, Hennepin Country transformed the corridor into the biking and walking path that exists today. The 7-mile path extends from the Mississippi River in St. Paul through the Chain of Lakes, Downtown Minneapolis and the western suburbs.
