The customer service experience is usually lacking at Home Depot. I don't care which store I've visited, it's usually pretty poor unfortunately. It might be because most people go in knowing what they need, where to find it, and how to use it. However, there are those of us who straggle in needing some assistance, like myself. I found the customer service on the day that I went recently to be better than usual. I still rated the store as average because they have a long way to go before they are better than Lowe's. But they are moving in the right direction. I purchased special order kitchen cabinets and a counter top. The sales associate, Becky Vering, was very experienced and knowledgeable. She was able to move me from a laminate to a granite counter with only a small increase in price. I would recommend her and Home Depot to others. I had to come to this store to pick up a product that another Home Depot store did not have. They were kind and helpful. Sadly, the Home Depot management is not choosing professional delivery and installation contractors.
