Mr. T, Sonic, and Gizmo minifigs are finally real thanks to Lego Dimensions 06.10.2016 :: 3:48PM EST Lego hit one out of the park with the first wave of their toys-to-life video game Lego Dimensions: Doctor Who. Back to the Future. Wave two is coming soon, and it looks every bit as awesome. Even if you can’t be bothered to buy a starter kit and actually play Dimensions, Lego is clearly determined to make you buy fun packs and level packs just so you can score the awesome minifigs. In this year’s installment, those will include Sonic the Hedgehog and B.A. Baracus. That’s right, children of the 1980s. You can finally add a Mr. T minifig to your collection — complete with a mini-version of the A-Team’s van! Another iconic 80s action star is also getting the Dimensions treatment: Knight Rider’s talking car K.I.T.T. Michael Knight probably comes in the level pack, too, but let’s face it… the car is what we want. What other blasts from the branded past are in this new round of Dimensions goodness?

How about Gizmo, Sloth, and E.T. Oh, and they’re throwing in Beetlejuice for good measure. It’s enough to make you forget Disney Infinity is going away. It’s not an entirely retro affair, either. For Adventure Time fans, Lego is also bringing a pair of Finn and Jake packs: a level pack with Finn, the Jakemobile, and  the ancient psychic tandem war elephant and a level pack featuring Jake, BMO, LSP, and her Lumpy Car. The team from Teen Titans Go! and the Powerpuff Girls are getting their own sets, too! Add a tiny Tom Cruise to your collection with the Mission: Impossible pack. Play as Harry or Lord Voldemort — and possibly even Newt Scamander from this fall’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them based on what Lego teased in their trailer video. You’ll even be able to play through the entire Ghostbusters reboot thanks to a new Story Pack. Take that, angry men! Or, you know, just buy them, Krazy Glue them together, and stick them in your display cabinet. subscribe to our newsletter:

that was the day Sega introduced their next big answer to Nintendo's Super Mario series. After Alex Kidd enjoyed his time on the Sega Master System (and in the beginning of the Sega Genesis's life cycle alongside Altered Beast), Sega decided that they needed a new big mascot for their company. And that character's name is Sonic the Hedgehog!Okay, okay, pretty much all of you already know all of this, but I simply figured I could celebrate the 25th anniversary of this franchise, which, thanks to Sonic Adventure on Sega Dreamcast, started to get me into playing video games! With this in mind, I've finally got around to fan art based on his appearance in Lego Dimensions, which I have been the most stoked about since Super Smash Bros. 4! I can't wait until the Lego pack he is in comes out!
