My second, and hopefully not last entry, My Fire Dragon entry Originally posted 61 months ago. lisqr edited this topic 61 months ago. My first entry (more to come hopefully) Damn... dragons are tough. You congratulated the gnome for creating something so exquisite as a clockwork horse, and poured effusive praise over his diminutive head. Once he was suitably buttered up, you asked him if he could make something bigger... V&A Steamworks - Guy HImber edited this topic 61 months ago. She's big, bad and beautiful.

The Deathly Halliwell edited this topic 61 months ago. A quikie-entry from me :) I've never built a dragon before, so I thought now would be a good time to start! I've built a dragon's skeleton, displayed with some Vikings' skeletons on wooden plinths in a Museum. George G - edited this topic 61 months ago. Babes can kill too My second entry to the dragons contest. Its a baby dragon killing knight. The Nazgûl were they, the Ringwraiths, the Úlairi, the Enemy's most terrible servants; darkness went with them, and they cried with the voices of death. Their steeds were winged creatures: if birds, then greater than all other birds, and were naked, and neither quill nor feather did they bear, and their vast pinions were as webs of hide between horned fingers; Creature of an older world maybe. Vultures upon the weak.... Blake's Baericks edited this topic 61 months ago. Made from a combination of the 8297 off roader and the 8145 Ferrari 599 - there weren't enough pistons in the 599! Engine has 16 cylinders like the real thing, but unlike the real thing, it wasn't possible to attach two cylinders to each lobe of the crank shaft, so this Veyron has a pair of V8s with joined cranks. The car is 4WD with power going through two differentials; a power functions clutch and a clutch made from two pegs and a collar substitutes for the third differential I didn't have. The two-piece rear spoiler extends from the rear of the car. Independent suspension front and rear, working doors and hand of god steering complete the model. I'm a few pieces short, otherwise I'd have linked up the steering to the steering wheel, and added the center diff and a gearbox - but those parts aren't in the collection right now.

Comments and suggestions welcome!Look at my creation and rate it! You can contact me on Ming Thein Quoting 73H. Sheepo made it perfect, but this one was finished a year earlier - at the time it was definitely the first and only veyron...it's also smaller at 1:10 instead of 1:8. There's less space in there to pack in all the features :) inika brickI am not surprised this got MOTD! I love all the details! Check out this creation I made and comment if you like it! The Lego Animal (Jay Rhum) Ming Thein Quoting Aaden Hughes Ming Thein Quoting suren pogosyan Vincent OcaslaHey, do u have Facebook by any chance? Would like to add you. Ming Thein Quoting Motown Technic ! This car doesn't exist anymore. It's now a Ferrari 250 GTO, which does have a working gearbox. The only fixed component when it comes to dimensions are the wheels - lay out your wheels first and then that should tell you how big the wheelbase is etc and how the frame has to fit around that.

The rest is just figuring out proportions. Too late for the video or pictures, it's been built and gone! Also the car DID have a working steering linkage. ulisse di bartolomeiThe patent fraud. About the Fiat hybrids, the technology double clutch with electric motor between has been stolen by a patent that Fiat Company has never wanted to purchase, but only shamelessly to copy. If the industries can afford unpunished to copy the ideas and defending it need very expensive trial, to which target need the patents? How our young people can find intellectual courage if the economic potentates crush the rights of the single ones? How to defend the rights of private inventors? Whoever is about to ask for a patent or wants to propose a proper patent to a great firm I suggest to give a look to my experience with the Fiat, to get able to operate with best adroitness. Thanks and good time to everybody. Ming Thein Quoting Alfie Evans Yes, but never got around to it. Also didn't have enough gears left over after building the 4WD transmission - maybe for version two.

Ming Thein Quoting Alex Beringer The real car shares a common crank so the Vs meet at the lower point. Obviously can't do that with lego, so I joined two Vs at the crank ends (two cranks instead of one). Fiat owns Ferrari which owns Maserati... marc van den akker The Gun Shop Owner O_o Ming Thein Quoting David John It was when I put it up :) Ming Thein Quoting Matt ClagI just wish I had more bits so I didn't have to take something apart every time I wanted to build another car... Ming Thein Quoting Tom Oliver I'll do you one better. Buy me the 599 GTB Fiorano (8145) and 8297 off roader sets and I'll build you an improved version... Ming Thein Quoting Dillon MAfter seeing yours I built my own which I have posted. Nice job with the back end on yours - that was the area I was least happy with. I also had weight issues; actually used a kickstand underneath to support it when not demo-ing so as to not ruin the springs. Ming Thein Quoting Zach Delbridge
