Butch to me connotes a connection to the lesbian community, or outside of the lesbian community, the gay/ballroom scene (i.e. "butch queen"). A lesbian who does not perform femininity in their day-to-day lives.
Butch is typically used to describe a masculine-presenting lesbian, while tomboy is used to describe a girl who exhibits behaviors typically associated with boys.
Butch typically refers to a person who identifies as a lesbian and embodies more traditional masculine traits, such as wearing men's clothing and having a more assertive demeanor. Dyke, on the other hand, is a more general term that can be used to describe any person who identifies as a lesbian, regardless of their gender expression.

I consider myself soft butch, maybe chapstick lesbian I dress in (mostly oversized, I'm 46kg and 160cm lol) men's and unisex clothing, but still have long hair (tried short, but long looks better on me).

Yes. Straight girls can be masc, bit they can't be butch. Masc is just a way of expression, but butch is a complicated identity for lesbians that goes beyond just dressing in men's clothes. (I am not butch or masc, but the difference between butch and masc is basically the same as the difference between feminine and Femme, and i am Femme)
