Small cocktail bar at the entrance which has great cocktails whilst waiting. Excellent service and I have never had a bad meal here, food is consistently good That's the first time ever that I've left a restaurant still hungry. I ordered the carbonara and all the starters that were coming out to other tables were bigger than my portion size as a main.
Not once were we asked how our food was. I’m really sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at Gusto. Being part of a larger company we have strict specifications for all our dishes which we follow very closely, however having looked at the picture you uploaded, the size does appear smaller than our usual main portions. We had a fantastic 3 course meal here this week. The restaurant managed to fit 6 of us in last minute & everything was superb. The food wasn't rushed nor delayed was lovely timing after each course. Tasted delicious & the service was friendly & made the night more enjoyable. Came here on bonfire night, very late review. The whole night was amazing, from the wide variety of cocktails to the beautiful dinner and very attentive staff, couldn't have wished for a nicer evening! We are regulars here and are part of the dining club also! Food is amazing aswell as the staff!! Would highly recommend this branch form atmosphere to the service fab fab fab
This is a very local restaurant for me.my dining partner recommend it to me so we booked at table on a Monday night.I had the hand rolled meat ball's for a starter which were very good indeed.my partner had the pate which also was good and tasty.main course I had the roasted belly pork yum yum and my partner had... I came here with my sister and brother-in-law on a Saturday night. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It was absolutely packed and rather noisy as a result, I'm afraid. Our table was right by the (open) kitchen and perhaps it would have been quieter somewhere else. The food, however, was fantastic. A lovely restaurant in the centre of Heswall. We went for an early dinner and I did book which was probably the thing to do as it did get busy. The waitress, Nicola, was most pleasant, helpful and efficient. A very varied menu with British courses as well as Italian dishes. The food arrived promptly and was hot and very... Even booking more than a week in advance is no guarantee of a peak time table on a Saturday night.
