An I-Beam construction is typically larger and stronger than the X-Beam construction. What features differentiate a high priced inflatable item from a lower priced inflatable item? A swimming pool inflatable, like items in other industries, have various factors that set them apart and dictate price differences. Quality — Seam strength and gauge of vinyl – the heavier the gauge, the stronger the material and the longer the product will last. Typically, swimming pool inflatable toys, riders, chairs and floats range from 7 to 16 gauge vinyl. Length of time and resources spent on testing procedures Variety — Multiple colors and designs to choose from Benefits such as versatility, built- in beverage holders, permanently bonded dual handles, built-in storage bins, multiple air chambers, perimeter ropes, contoured inflatable body, & Boston air valves add convenience and comfort. What is a Boston Valve? How and why do we use it? Boston Valve’s are typically found on large inflatable items.

Essentially, it is an oversized air valve with two tops or caps that makes for a quick and easy deflation! To inflate using a Boston Valve : Twist the bottom cap off and insert air source. (If needed, to help prevent air from escaping, wrap a rag or towel around nozzle to plug excess open while inflating.) Inflate 90% and put the bottom cap back on the inflatable. Now, remove the top plug. This plug has an inner membrane to keep air from deflating. Inflate to full size and replace outer plug. What is the difference between Poolmaster Maintenance categories? Patching process works best in warm water. Cut the patch just a bit larger than the hole you are patching (not too big). Cut the patch in a round shape (rather than square edges which tend to lift). Wipe down the area to be patched with a clean rag. Apply glue to the patch and allow it to get “tacky”. Fold the tacky sides of the patch together (taco style) so glue will not wash off while going underwater for application (Do not allow edges to touch as this will cause patch to stick to itself and it will be difficult to separate). You may have to adjust the correct amount of glue for secure application.

The patch works by melding with the existing liner. The patch is not recommended on old, brittle liners as the melding between the two may cause a larger hole.  The patch works excellent on supple liners with small holes. How can I extend the life and enjoyment of my lounge? Each lounge is made of durable and non-corrosive materials. However, prolonged exposure to sunlight and pool chemicals can cause permanent weakening of product. Too extend product enjoyment: Remove product from pool when not in use Rinse product off with plain water after each use Store product in a dry place away from direct sunlight and pool chemicals Also, each floating lounge is designed for comfort to lounge in the pool. Do not jump on it Keep it out of rough play Make sure all nut and bolt attachments are secured and tighten as needed Check lounge seat for wear and tear and replace seat if necessary Check Polyform float for any water leakage. Remove drain plug to drain water if necessary.
