If you’re trying to cut down your frivolous spending, you may want to look away now. Because you’re about to be extremely tempted to spend your entire salary on plastic bricks. LEGO has just opened its largest store ever in London’s Leicester Square. The jazzy new store will act as the brand’s flagship shop, and is the 131st LEGO store to open around the world. Oh, and it’s blimmin’ massive, and filled with all kinds of exciting stuff. There’s the Mosaic Maker, which takes your photo then prints out a personalised portrait made of LEGO in under ten minutes (you then have to assemble it yourself, so it’s still fun), a six metre tall LEGO statue of Big Ben, and a model of tube carriage. Aaaand there’s also a LEGO minifigure scanner you can peek in at from outside the store to find out which LEGO minifigure you are, digital window displays, and a ‘digital endless aisle’, which is essentially just a posh way of saying you can browse an online catalogue of all the LEGO sets available in the store.

It’s also all very British-y. There’s a big mosaic of London’s skyline, plus models of Shakespeare and a beefeater. He had his own room in the store where you can pictures. If you were planning to buy anyone LEGO stuff for Christmas, it’d probably be wise to pop down now. Firstly because it’s more fun than browsing online, but secondly because if you wait any longer everyone will know about the store and it’ll be absolutely packed with hyper children. LEGO has an assortment of different sets, including sets based on movies, dioramas of real life architecture, sets that can be turned into multiple different things and even sets that are just a bunch of bricks to encourage kids to creatively build something for themselves. One of my favorite LEGO adaptations of the past few years has been their LEGO Marvel sets. Whether they are based on the movies, the comics or a TV show, the LEGO Marvel sets prove themselves to be accurate to their sources, bringing forth some of our favorite characters.

Here are ten of these LEGO Marvels sets that I think were designed extraordinarily well that are a must-have for any Marvel fan. This incredibly well designed model of Avengers Tower is not only an exterior, but also a very detailed interior with six different rooms. It's a very fun set with an assortment of characters, props and everything you would want to see in the base for the Avengers. Though it is almost $60, it is certainly worth the money. This set has to be one of the cleverest sets I have seen by LEGO in a long time. In order to fit the theme of Ant-Man, one of the parts of the set you need to build are two over-sized LEGO bricks. But, to add icing to the cake, the set also included the actual sized versions of those bricks. It was a hilarious twist to an already well designed set that I truly appreciated. This is the largest LEGO Marvel set to date. It is an extremely detailed and rather large model of the Helicarrier as seen in The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035).

But it's not just one giant ship. It also includes many miniature quinjets, airplanes and other vehicles, and includes different minifigures and miniature minifigures. Plus, there's also a very well designed interior that looks like its straight out of the movie. If you have $350 to spare, use it on this thing. It will keep you busy for a very long time. This is one of those rare LEGO Marvel sets that brings forth elements from the comics. Not only does it include Hulk and Thor, but it also features the red-suited comic book version of Falcon, along with comic book villains Taskmaster and M.O.D.O.K. in spectacular detail. Plus, it's a fun set with many features that are sure to keep you entertained. For the first time, LEGO brings forward their versions of Sandman and Rhino, two classic Spider-Man villains. The main backdrop of the set is a construction site for Sandman to do his thing, allowing him to stretch his abilities across the entire set with his two giant hands. Plus, it comes with the Iron Spider, the Spider-Man suit used in Civil War.

Throw everything together, and you've got yourself one awesome LEGO set.Straight out of Guardians of the Galaxy, this awesome set introduces LEGO Groot and Rocket, along with Nebula and a Sakaaran bad guy. It is a very inventive set that takes up a lot of room for only 433 pieces. It's a lot of fun and Groot is pretty freaking sweet. This set is also a must-have. (retired product)Let's face it, there's probably not a person alive that looked at Iron Man's mansion in the movies and did not want it. Well, this is probably the closest most of us will get to owning this incredible house. The set includes Tony Stark and his Mark 42 suit, in addition to Pepper, the Mandarin and an Extremis soldier. It's an exquisite set and a great addition to any LEGO collection. (retired product)Based on the Ultimate Spider-Man TV series, this set brings forth some of the best Marvel characters like Spider-Man, J. Jonah Jameson, Dr. Doom, Nova and Beetle in the LEGO adaptation of the Daily Bugle's building.

It is an awesome set with many features. Plus, really, who wouldn't want a LEGO J. Jonah Jameson minifigure? (retired product)I've got two words for you: LEGO Deadpool. Or is that technically three words? In either case, this set is a must have not only because of Deadpool, but also because of Wolverine and Magneto. These are three of X-Men's most popular characters, plus the helicopter is very well designed. Unfortunately, due to how old this set is, it very very rare and expensive, especially considering how cheap it once was. It is without a doubt one of the coolest Marvel LEGO sets to date, and I keep waiting for the day LEGO releases a new set with Deadpool in it.This is honestly my favorite one on the list. It is very well designed and the Hulk buster suit moves surprisingly well. Iron Man fits perfectly into the center of the Hulk buster, and the rest of the suit closes around him. It is fun to look at and a blast to build, and even more fun to play with. Throw in some LEGO cars for Hulk to throw, and you''ll be busy for weeks.
