One of the best kids toy companies in the world is, without a doubt, LEGO. LEGO has an assortment of different sets, including sets based on movies, dioramas of real life architecture, sets that can be turned into multiple different things and even sets that are just a bunch of bricks to encourage kids to creatively build something for themselves. One of my favorite LEGO adaptations of the past few years has been their LEGO Marvel sets. Whether they are based on the movies, the comics or a TV show, the LEGO Marvel sets prove themselves to be accurate to their sources, bringing forth some of our favorite characters. Here are ten of these LEGO Marvels sets that I think were designed extraordinarily well that are a must-have for any Marvel fan. This incredibly well designed model of Avengers Tower is not only an exterior, but also a very detailed interior with six different rooms. It's a very fun set with an assortment of characters, props and everything you would want to see in the base for the Avengers.

Though it is almost $60, it is certainly worth the money. This set has to be one of the cleverest sets I have seen by LEGO in a long time. In order to fit the theme of Ant-Man, one of the parts of the set you need to build are two over-sized LEGO bricks. But, to add icing to the cake, the set also included the actual sized versions of those bricks. It was a hilarious twist to an already well designed set that I truly appreciated. This is the largest LEGO Marvel set to date. It is an extremely detailed and rather large model of the Helicarrier as seen in The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035). But it's not just one giant ship. It also includes many miniature quinjets, airplanes and other vehicles, and includes different minifigures and miniature minifigures. Plus, there's also a very well designed interior that looks like its straight out of the movie. If you have $350 to spare, use it on this thing. It will keep you busy for a very long time.

This is one of those rare LEGO Marvel sets that brings forth elements from the comics. Not only does it include Hulk and Thor, but it also features the red-suited comic book version of Falcon, along with comic book villains Taskmaster and M.O.D.O.K. in spectacular detail. Plus, it's a fun set with many features that are sure to keep you entertained. For the first time, LEGO brings forward their versions of Sandman and Rhino, two classic Spider-Man villains. The main backdrop of the set is a construction site for Sandman to do his thing, allowing him to stretch his abilities across the entire set with his two giant hands. Plus, it comes with the Iron Spider, the Spider-Man suit used in Civil War. Throw everything together, and you've got yourself one awesome LEGO set.Straight out of Guardians of the Galaxy, this awesome set introduces LEGO Groot and Rocket, along with Nebula and a Sakaaran bad guy. It is a very inventive set that takes up a lot of room for only 433 pieces. It's a lot of fun and Groot is pretty freaking sweet.

This set is also a must-have. (retired product)Let's face it, there's probably not a person alive that looked at Iron Man's mansion in the movies and did not want it. Well, this is probably the closest most of us will get to owning this incredible house. The set includes Tony Stark and his Mark 42 suit, in addition to Pepper, the Mandarin and an Extremis soldier. It's an exquisite set and a great addition to any LEGO collection. (retired product)Based on the Ultimate Spider-Man TV series, this set brings forth some of the best Marvel characters like Spider-Man, J. Jonah Jameson, Dr. Doom, Nova and Beetle in the LEGO adaptation of the Daily Bugle's building. It is an awesome set with many features. Plus, really, who wouldn't want a LEGO J. Jonah Jameson minifigure? (retired product)I've got two words for you: LEGO Deadpool. Or is that technically three words? In either case, this set is a must have not only because of Deadpool, but also because of Wolverine and Magneto. These are three of X-Men's most popular characters, plus the helicopter is very well designed.

Unfortunately, due to how old this set is, it very very rare and expensive, especially considering how cheap it once was. It is without a doubt one of the coolest Marvel LEGO sets to date, and I keep waiting for the day LEGO releases a new set with Deadpool in it.This is honestly my favorite one on the list. It is very well designed and the Hulk buster suit moves surprisingly well. Iron Man fits perfectly into the center of the Hulk buster, and the rest of the suit closes around him. It is fun to look at and a blast to build, and even more fun to play with. Throw in some LEGO cars for Hulk to throw, and you''ll be busy for weeks. Those are only a few of the awesome Marvel LEGO sets that have been released. There are plenty more just waiting for you to build them. Don't be afraid of being the Dad in The LEGO Movie. Whether you're a kid, a parent, a grandparent, a high school student, a college student, or something else completely, anyone can have fun with LEGO and there's no reason to feel ashamed of yourself.

It's both creative and fun, and there's nothing wrong with having a little creative fun. So go out there, buy your favorite LEGO Marvel set and rebuild your childhood one brick at a time. Which LEGO Marvel set is your favorite? Attack on Avenger's Tower Rhino and Sandman Super Villain Team Up Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack Spider-Man Daily Bugle Showdown The Hulk Buster Smash Some other LEGO Marvel set... Lego bricks are generally awesome, and by all accounts The Lego Movie, opening this weekend, is as well. So we thought we'd make sure the folks at Lego didn't get too full of themselves by reminding the world of the worst toys, figures and building sets they've unleashed upon the world. JUST NO. I have no idea what possessed a single Lego engineer to create this cast-off from the Island of Dr. Moreau, let alone what made the company release it on an unsuspecting world. Or why they thought the two white round bricks underneath the nose-piece would represent two buck teeth and not

some kind of abnormal growth. All I know is that all of these decisions were made in hate and fury. I put this is in quotes, because as you can see, while Lego assures us that this 1997 set is of a fire truck, it clearly looks nothing likeOh, it's red, and it is a vehicle, but that's pretty much where And what good is a completely bizarre fire truck without an equally bizarre fire chief? Admittedly, this fire chief is too good to ride on the truck with his peons, and has his own mini-vehicle, without doors or even sides, to travel on. He also has his own little hose for… little fires? he's out fighting fires by himself? Because all the other Lego firemen think Call me crazy, but I think I'm got a pretty good idea how the robber could break into this bank. Or out, I guess. they behind the bars or in front of them? Is this guy trying to break into to access an ATM, or is he trying to get the endless void on the other side? either case, this thing sucks.

Back in 1979, Lego created Fabuland, a line full of anthropomorphic animals, as sort of an intermediary set between Duplos andThey're kind of terrifying, like if Hunter S. Thompson had designed a toddler's Lego line while high on mescaline. But nothing is more chilling that The Fabuland Big Band set, featuring Peter Pig and Gabriel Gorilla. monsters would listen to a band consisting of nothing but a drummer and tuba 6) Star Wars Final Duel IIYes, now you can recreate the thrilling action of Luke Skywalker's final duel with Darth Vader and the Emperor by… watching him walk down the hallway to his final duel with Darth Vader and the Emperor? long as he walks no more than four steps, because that's all the hallway In 1998, Lego introduced their K'nex-like building sets called Znap, because Zs make everything cooler. Indeed, the line wasn't overall bad — most of the kits looked all right, an they had crazy things like a Dino-Jet a giant ant along with the hover-subs and other vehicles.

this piece of crap — which Lego tried to pass off as a "Jet-Car" — even more 8) Jack Stone Red Flash StationOkay, Lego, now you're not even fucking trying. Remember back in the early '00s, when Lego started trying to make sports games out of Legos? One of the earliest catastrophes was the NHL Slammer Stadium, in which sentient giant head statues from Easter Island played a rousing game of hockey. But what's worse is the rink itself — a flimsy cardboard rink, surrounded by an even flimsier wall. If only Lego has some kind of more durable building material to work with! Horse and Clara Cow's Ice Cream Shoppe Another Fabuland set, obviously, begging a very disturbing question: Where does Clara get the milk to make the ice cream? Well before Lego Friends, Lego tried to reach girls with Belville set, a 1994 series which focused more on figures and playsets moreThe problem was the figures were godawful and the sets were a

weird mix of fairy tale stuff and standard, mundane doll activities. Lego exhausted the traditional beauty salons and stables, they threw together this — sure, an interior designer is a pretty progressive progression for a doll to have in the '90s, but it kind of undercuts the message when her design equipment consists of a stand-alone sink, a bathtub (the hell?) and a brush. can think of a sadder image than a girl trying to brush her ugly, tiny doll's plastic hair helmet, please let me know. I wasn't lying about the dolls. If Artoo had a skeleton, this is what it would look like. Lego couldn't be bothered to make a single piece that would prevent him fromFeel free to insert a C-3PO/Phantom Menace "I'm naked!" joke here, if you're a bad person. 14) Jack Stone Fire Response SUVDoes no one at Lego know what a goddamn firetruck looksOr an SUV, for that matter? In 2002, Lego had big plans for a new toyline call Galidor.
