The period furnishings were carefully selected and the house was truly beautiful, including carvings by Sheila's late husband. Positioned centrally in a lovely historic part of town. My favorite part was exploring all the different rooms and unique finds. Yes, exploring the rooms with their doors open as you arrive before the other guests arrive is a fun thing to do. I always tour when visiting other bed and breakfasts and learned new ideas. Then later on, came to own 2. on January 24, 2017 This was probably one of the most unique and interesting stays I have ever had. So much better than staying at a regular hotel and you really get amazing personal attention! I would definitely stay here again!!

Thank you for coming! on January 09, 2017 Sheila (owner) answered my phone call. She was so helpful and kind. Also went above and beyond and emailed my daughter to let her know we had arrived safely. The room was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again. Only con- police station nearby. Bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper ;) Innkeeper ResponseThis loving couple came for a medical appointment in the nearby hospital complex. Their adult daughter was concerned for them and helped with their reservation. They were a pleasure to have stay with us. There is a Police Department across the street. Apparently they heard something that night, though I did not, and was sleeping nearby in our apartment within the Inn. Typically our police don't run sirens from their HQ but respond when out on their beat. Other guests report they hear nothing and often comment they feel safer by being across the street from the Police. on January 04, 2017 We recently stayed in the Peacock room at the Habersham Bed and Breakfast on New Year's Eve.
The room was very interesting with the beautiful peacock sitting on his perch. The bed was extremely comfortable. The area was great. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Great BnB close to UAB on December 25, 2016 This is a nice clean friendly B&B near five points Birmingham, quite close to UAB. I have stayed here several times and quite enjoy the splendid decoration in the rooms and the elegant breakfast each morning. It's very easy to walk to several nice restaurants and to stroll around five points. On the whole, it's a great place. If you have time it's also a great place from which to visit the Civil Rights Museum in Birmingham, as well as other Birmingham attractions.
