, according to the chains."You might not think there are multiple segments of the bean bag business, but there are," said Yogibo spokesman Jason Knights. "We have a much different price point."DELAWAREONLINESix new stores coming to Christiana Mall this yearFounded in 2009, Yogibo is the newcomer to the market. The company offers "new age bean bag furniture" with an inner bag stuffed with a special grade of polysytrene surrounded by a washable, exterior bag made of a fire-retardant cotton-spandex blend available in vibrant colors. Its flagship product, the $239 Yogibo Max, is a 6-foot-long, 2-foot-wide, lightweight bean bag that seats four, but also can be used as a recliner or bed. The Yogibo Max has been featured as a dorm room must-have by Student Advisor Magazine, Buzzfeed and other media outlets. The company also offers a wide range of bean bags for babies, children and even outdoor use, along with bedding, ottomans, rugs, dolls, stuffed animals and travel accessories."We don't view our products as furniture, but really elements of what we call the 'lifestyle of awesomeness,'" Levy said.

Yogibo has 26 retail stores from Maine to Maryland. Its closest locations are currently the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania and the Westfield Mall in Annapolis, Maryland. Both sites also have a Lovesac store.Lovesac got its start in Utah back in 1998 when founder Shawn Nelson turned his homemade design into a business. The company has about 60 mall-based stores in 27 states with plans to add a half-dozen or so each year.Lovesac's flagship product is The Big One, a roughly 95-pound ball with an inner layer filled with Durafoam and a washable outer layer of polyester-based velvet, fake fur or polylinen in a range of patterns. The Big One retails for about $1,290.In addition to six sizes of Sacs, the company recently launched a line of so-called Sactionals that range in price from a $2,200 two-seater to an $8,700 modular couch with 10 seats.Lovesac company officials did not return messages seeking comment.Yogibo's Knights, however, said there's plenty of room for two bean bag stores at the Christiana Mall."

We're not really direct competitors," said Yogibo's Knights. "Well, sort of, but not really."The new Yogibo store is fully staffed, but Knights said the company is always hunting for prospective hires.Job listings are posted on the company's website, he said."We like outgoing and friendly people who can help make our stores a friendly, social environment," he said. or on Twitter @ScottGossDel.DELAWAREONLINEDelaware restaurants fight against minimum wage hikeDELAWAREONLINEUniversity of Delaware scientist may help put algae in your fuel tankUnique New Finds For Spring When you open and use a my pier 1 rewards cobalt credit card Pier 1 ♥sYou Month We're showing you the love all February. Nextdoor members in share concerts, street fairs, garage sales, community meetings, and more. Grease: Save the Date! Pick It Up Pocopson! All of the following photos were provided by Connect Coworking in Tucson, Arizona.I’m the Community Facilitator here at The Candy Factory and also a copy editor and writer for The Sweet Core team. I fell in love with coworking a little over a year ago when my previous boss secured a desk for me here at The Candy Factory. From there, I flourished. Coworking is hard to explain, but is such an easy and ingenious concept that I’m not sure why I didn’t join this beautiful movement years prior. I just know it was love at first sight, and here I am working for the coworking space I fell in love with! Since becoming employed here, I have taken a great interest in other coworking spots around the country. One of our members, Justin Chlan, visited Spark in Baltimore and wrote about it. Before my travels to visit my brother, his wife, and their son in Tucson, Arizona, I researched coworking spots in their area.

That’s when I found Connect Coworking in downtown Tucson. I contacted Dani and Caitlin from Connect and asked to tour the space! I was warmly greeted at the reception desk with rows of beautiful vintage typewriters staring back at me. A beautiful stairway leading to the upstairs look familiar to me: they play a fun game with their members called Sock it Tuesday on instagram, where they feature a closeup of someone’s funky socks on this very stairwell. On the way to Connect’s flex space, they feature two large metal pieces mounted to the wall. One of them is used as a platform to show polaroids of each member and what they do. The other is used as a monthly calendar. Many of the events are repeated monthly events, and others are specific to that month. This keeps their members connected with what’s going on. They also have bikes that members can rent (!!!). This is the flex space that drop-ins and lighter members can use Monday through Friday. Check out those nice leather rolling office chairs!
