a couch seems too rigged for the space planning and we're the lounging type anyway. i'm looking for something that's comfortable, easy to maintain, not prohibitively hard to clean, and is worth the price. I found these (made by praxis) at overstock. They're the ones i'm leaning towards, but i can't find any info on them besides on overstock. pictures of non models in them? do they live up to the overwhelmingly good reviews? i also found this one (company called jaxx) after some googling. there's of course the ever popular love sac, which, while fun to say, seems a little on the spendy side. i've also read this thread, but mozai seemed to be after a different feel. i'm looking for suggestions on these products or to be pointed to things you've tried and liked (or hated) that i didn't list here.This bean bag was the bean bag of them all, it was over-sized and very comfortable. Then it started to collect my hair and lint and random crud from the hardwood floor which was annoying. It is quite difficult to get it all off.
Now the fabric has stretched out quite a bit... almost to the point where I can twist up a bunch and knot it. This makes the fuf kind of saggy. If it stayed like how it was for the first few months it would get 5 stars. It didn't take long before it became a limp hair collector. I wish I read and believed the bad reviews. This bean bag has chunks of foam inside and is not comfortable. I tried to return it when I received it but the extremely helpful customer service told me to empty the content in garbage bags and send them back. Now, three months later the cover was so dirty that I decided to empty it. It took 7 bags (11 gallons each) to empty the cover. I must figure out how to dispose all these foam pieces. The bean bag is very heavy and hard to move or shape back. I will never ever buy a product like this. A total nightmare and a waste of money. We ordered these for our bonus room to watch movies on. It's been about a year. They are still holding up just fine. The only complaint is you have to move the stuffing around like any other bean bag.
It's very heavy to move around, but overall we are pleased. Huge and perfect for the room. I bought a different one from a different brand and it had a removable cover, I and the kids love it. Now, we want something with a different shape and found this. My bad that I did not read it carefully but if a removable cover is a must for you then stay away from this. I would have if I knew. I want to wash everything before use, not able with this one. Can't even use a bed sheet or something similar on it as the nature of "bag" would not let any of them stay put.Awesome sack for the price. This was supposed to be for my spare bedroom - I don't know why I ever thought my 6yr old wouldn't take it for his own. He's currently using it as a crash pad to practice his front flips in the absense of a trampoline. I only wish it came with a cover. Two, queen sized fitted sheets work ok, but I'll probably have to sew something. I will be the first to admit - I also adore this thing (and so do the cats)!
There are nicer, more expensive options out there, but you won't find anything better for the price. Not happy with bean bag I had ordered a different bean bag in Feb 2016 and it's great so I wanted a bigger one for a lounge area but a little bigger...The fabric is not as nice as the order this one is cheap and the foam didn't fluff up like the other. I would like to send it back but the questions is how??? This bean bag is heavy. I suggest you have someone with you when you open and move it. I live alone, and used it a few times, even slept on it one night and it was great. My only complaint is the main seam toward the bottom of he bag came unraveled about 2" and the stuffing was coming out. I'd used it very little. It was disappointing and annoying. Hands down this was the best online purchase I've made. I love this thing. I got it because I was living in a studio downtown with no room for a big couch. I use this instead and I couldn't be happier. so comfortable and easily fits two for a nice cuddle session :)
