Michelle Wall, 43, was shocked when she was stopped from pushing brave son Noah into the department store during a trip to Knightsbridge, in London on Monday. Noah, who suffers from Spina bifida and chromosome abnormalities, uses a specially-adapted blue plastic wheelchair to help him get around.

But even when his mum and sister Steph picked the youngster up to prove that his legs did not work, security staff still refused to let them take the wheelchair inside. At first Harrods apologised for the mix-up and invited Noah to use their cafe free of charge. But after a public backlash they have now invited furious Michelle back to their store to actually give their staff disability training. A Harrods spokesman said: "We have welcomed Michelle's suggestion that she comes to the store to train key staff in the different types of wheelchairs available and are in the process of arranging it. "As part of the visit, Harrods will treat Michelle, Noah, and the rest of their family to a lunch in the Disney Cafe and a special tour of our toy department. "Noah is also first on the list for a VIP trip to see Father Christmas in the grotto later in the year. We look forward to seeing the Wall family at Harrods very soon." Noah is paralysed from the chest down and has just two per cent brain function.

He has defied doctors after making it to his third birthday, despite medics advising Michelle to terminate her pregnancy. The three-year-old was being taken into the world famous department store in London to enjoy a sandwich in the Disney cafe. However Michelle was left distraught after an over-zealous security guard refused to allow them to bring Noah's wheels in the store. The mother-of-three, from Abbeytown, in Cumbria, explained: "I was pushing Noah in his buggy because of the crowds, and wanted to put him in the wheelchair inside. "His nana was carrying the wheelchair and the security guard said, 'Sorry, you can't bring that inside". "I explained that it is his wheelchair and he said it couldn't be, because it doesn't have handles." Shelly desperately tried to persuade the guard that her little boy was disabled from the chest down after being born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus (water on the brain). Noah's devastated sister Steph even took her little brother from his buggy to show the guard that his legs do not work, and to explain how the wheelchair was his lifeline.

Shelly explained: "We've had the most amazing day; on Sunday Noah took part in Music is Magic - a concert featuring children and adults with learning disabilities - at the London Palladium. "Before we went back home, we thought it would be great to take Noah to Hamleys and he played in the ball pool. They gave him a necklace and were just so sweet." She continued: "We thought the Disney cafe and Mickey Mouse at Harrods would be such a treat for Noah. I can't believe the security guard. "Would they ask an adult to explain his wheelchair? I'm just so upset for Noah, that anybody would treat him this way." Noah's inspirational story has attracted supporters from around the world, including celebrities such as Theo Paphitis and Duncan Bannatyne. Shelly set up the hashtag HugsForNoah to help raise awareness of her little miracle, as well as highlight the importance of women taking folic acid three months before trying for a baby. Posting on social media after the incident, Michelle angrily wrote: "Just left Harrods in disgust.
