« The worst motel in Melbourne » I have stayed in budget motels before but this was the worst. I would never r eco end this place a backpackers would have been better. Only reason I did was the Grand Prix was on and could not get other accommodation for the two nights. And the trains going passed tooting. This was an over priced budget Motel at $129 a night pity the one up the road didn't have a room for the Saturday there motel is far nicer and only $85 a night « Great Value for Money » Very good Service, busy but very good location, not too far from centre. Quiet rooms, with very good bed and very good breakfast with pancakes for a very affordable price. The hotel was clean and there was enough parking space. Budget for a reason, nice bed ...chair was terrible and plastic good area, AIR conditioning was old style and the room had no view, only could see the wall of another building that had graffiti on it and large spit balls. Was close to highways and main roads and shopping center.
The showers are cheap and nasty, but it is called Budget for a reason. « Hotel ok for one night stopover, not more » Hotel looks worn, free parking is a plus. Wifi is not included, 5 AUD for 30 mins, 10 AUD for 1 hour and 20 AUD for 24 hours ... that is a rip-off Bathrooms small and smelly, rooms small but at least clean. Breakfast alright but area fills very quickly as it is too small for the hotel « Good value for money » Clean hotel that was regularly serviced. Good value for a budget hotel, as I have paid the same money for worse elsewhere. The staff were very helpful and extremely courteous.It was a very handy location for the business I was on. « Bare Essentials » Friendly helpful staff with easy access to the RSL for a quality meal. We asked for an extra bath towel to be used as a bath mat in the shower. There is a little road noise but a couple of drinks with dinner will help. « Better than I expceted » We arrived on a late night flight and chose to stay here as it was a reasonable rate.
The room we had accommodates 3. It was small however it wasn't a problem for the one night. The room was clean and although located near a busy intersection we weren't bothered much by noise. The gentleman at check in/check out was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. It was about a $35 taxi fare from the domestic airport « Many upgrades required » Hotel is in need of many repairs and upgrades. Overall the hotel is very run down. One three occasions that myself and my staff have stayed at this hotel 2 occasions the rooms window blinds were faulty. On one occasion is the sink plug was faulty therefore not allowing the sink to drain. The common areas are also very dirty. « Not for family holiday » I don't recommend this hotel to any family who wishes to stay more than one night. The common kitchen was disgusting as was the smell of the carpet in the hallway. Not a hygienic place for young children. Rooms were not spacious as they appeared in the photos.
You pay for what you get. « budget stay » This room was as expected - clean and functional. Bathroom, tv, clean and comfortable bed. No frills, no chair, no telephone, basic breakfast for $7 with no yoghurt for cereal.
