It emerged today, however, that the restaurant scene had been carefully choreographed and that the diners featured in the section were in fact actors. One of the performers employed to appear as a disgruntled diner, Michael Bott, 58, who has starred in The Bill, wrote of the filming on his blog: “Yesterday I did one of the silliest jobs ever.”He described how he met the Top Gear producer and how the scene came to be filmed and choreographed. He writes: "By the riverside is a very nice restaurant with windows overlooking the Avon and a decked balcony for outside dining."I meet the very nice producer and my fellow talent for the day – two girls and a gent – all pleasant and relaxed. Chairs and tables are arranged, close to the river bank.We are now diners enjoying a peaceful meal."Mr Bott goes on to explain that Mr Clarkson had two attempts at splashing the 'diners' and includes a video of the filming on his blog.A spokeswoman for the BBC told The Times: "Top Gear is an entertainment programme and I don’t think the viewers would have been taken in."

In 2007 the BBC admitted that a scene involving the three presenters accidentally setting fire to a caravan was faked.Despite coverage of the 'faked scenes' today Twitter fans of the programme seemed unconcerned with the new claims, with many suggesting it was obvious that the scenes weren't real.Laura Dickinson wrote on the microblogging site: "I don't understand people's surprise and disgust when they 'discover' the majority of Top Gear is a stunt... All other areas outside of California you can dial 916-445-7623 to reach the sameEsencia is a kiteboarders paradise due to the ocean conditions here. It is an especially easy and safe environment to learn kiting. You can stand up and walk a long ways out. If you get tired or lose your board you can simply stand up and walk to it. Trying to learn kiting in deep water adds a whole level of unnecessary difficulty. Also here there are no strong currents. It’s great to be able to spend hours in the water without getting cold. And that’s without a wetsuit. The Caribbean sea is generally warm anyways, and the Caicos Bank the we are on, being a shallow sea, heats up even more. Esencia is a safe location for learning to kite. The sandy beach has no rocks or large projecting sharp objects. The side/on shore winds will always bring you back to the beach. The shallow waters mean you can always stand up if you get tired or lose your board. The beach is 3+ miles of white sand and buildings are set back about 100ft or so, so even if you crash your kite on the beach there are no dangerous objects to entangle with (cars, buildings, etc.)

In addition to the natural environment, we have added some ‘ease of use’ facilities to the beach to make the kiting experience more pleasurable As lazy aging kiters we’ve installed compressed air directly on the beach with fittings for most kites. Takes the back strain out of kiting and makes for a quick inflation. Simply plug in the hose to your kite, turn the valve and… done! We have two self-launch/landing pads, one directly on the beach and one in the water. To launch your kite you run your lines and attach the chicken loop to the launch. Then you walk to your kite and place it in the launch position in the wind window. The kite will simply sit in that position. You then walk back to the launch, hook the chicken loop to your harness, disconnect from the launch and then bring the kite up in the air. See short video here. Landing is exactly the reverse. With the kite directly overhead, hook your chicken loop to the launch. Then lower the kite down to the beach. The kite will simply sit there at the end of your lines.

Disconnect from the kite, walk over to it and place it down on the beach. Then return to the launch and disconnect the lines. We have large light wind and beginner boards here if you need them. Though we’d all like to be on a short performance board, having a big board for learning makes a great difference to ease of learning. And when the wind is light, even the advanced kiters use the bigger boards – at least you’re out on the water, and you’d be surprised what kinds of tricks you can do riding a Door. Provo offers two types of waters for advanced kiting. Long Bay is generally flat water with some chop depending upon wind conditions. Many advanced kiters come here for work on tricks. Grace Bay (depending upon wind conditions) has a reef leading to the open sea. The reef offers wave riding, and the conditions on Grace Bay are generally wilder, larger swells, waves and then open ocean. What makes Long Bay so good for kiting? 3-mile long white sand beach No rocks or jetties

Nothing dangerous out there! The right direction of the wind - side on-shore Stunning clear turquoise blue water Right strength of wind, no big gusts Winds almost all year round (Kiting season - early Ocrtober until end of August) Shallow waters - you can stand up What makes Villa Esencia the best location on Long Bay Beach for Kiters? The natural ambience and the beach environment Shade directly on the beach - Tiki huts, umbrellas, Palm trees Comfortable Lounge chairs with cushions, regular chairs, hammocks You are only seconds walk from your suite Stand-up-paddle boards and ocean kayaks Great for family members who don’t kite as well as small children Only a few kiters! Special setup for kiters: Loaner boards - up to 170 for light wind kiting (Spleene, Flyboard, Mako) Compressed air directly on the beach Self-launch and landing x2 (1 on beach, 1 in the water) Clean, white sand launch/landing area
