Note that @TonRelay is not counted in network readership, this channel is primarily used by Telegram Channel admins to find news and advertising for placement on their channel, as contributed by our publishing and advertising partners.

How does it work?

Advertisers

For advertisers, we offer reach to a special interest TON audience. These are divided into English language audience and Russian language audiences to begin with. We plan to also introduce other languages in future. See section: Current Network Size.

TON Relay provides a way for advertisers to easily place advertisements via Telegram.

Cost per Telegram audience is from US $5 to US $10 per 1,000.

Publishers

For Publishers, if you are a professional news network that meets our stringent quality standards you will qualify to have your news relayed by TON Relay from your publication site onto Telegram and from there into multiple advertising partner channels as well as the viral spread by readers.

Publication partners pay for the service of relaying your news on an ongoing basis, or other arrangements such as advertising our service to your readers can be agreed.

Your benefit is extended reach for your publication in the TON interested community.

Channels

For Telegram channel owners, if you meet the criteria of a well-managed channel with a substantial target audience, you can select from advertisements that appear at TON Relay and share them to your channel and earn a 50% share of the advertising revenue based on your audience share in the current TON Relay channel partnership pie.

TON Relay is the point at which advertising enters easily and payments are received. As there will be scammers and spammers, we act as the filter, removing unsuitable advertising within a 8 hours or less, leaving the remaining advertising for you to choose from: all channel partners are expected to publish all PINNED advertising that is no more than 24 hours old as shown on the TON Relay channel pinned posts. A verification will be conducted across all channels in the network: any channels that are not displaying such advertising within 48 hours risk removal from the network.

We will work with you to find ways to ensure that alerts can reach you appropriately.

This is to ensure that advertisers reach the promised audience. TON Relay conducts routine quality control to ensure that all partners advertisers and publishers benefit.

Our commission for the provision of the service is 50% of advertising revenue, up to USD 0.005 per channel follower, depending upon assessment. Most channels can expect USD 0.0025 per follower, or USD 2.50 per thousand, e.g. for Russian language channels with substantial following. Niche channels command more.

Channel admins can freely take any news publication posts from the Ton Relay channel to improve content and engagement of your followers. We only partner with high quality content providers, see above regarding the Advertising filter (pinned ads).

You are also encouraged to place ads in your pinned messages, either in English or Russian, to encourage advertisers. Whilst you can handle advertisers directly, there are many benefits to leaving it to Advertising Agency experts to handle advertisers:

• We have on our staff highly experienced advertising and publishing managers
• You focus on running your channel effectively while we handle the advertising
• You receive 50% of all income, which is likely to be more than 100% of direct ads

Note that we routinely monitor channels to ensure that you are not running any ads of other networks, or direct advertising, which minimizes the reach of TON Relay ads.
