A Brief History of Pixar Animation Studios

Pixar is an American film production company known for its wildly successful and critically acclaimed feature films. It is situated in Emeryville, California and is a part of the Walt Disney Studios franchise owned by The Walt Disney Company. There are currently three Pixar themed films now in development at Disney. Two of them are due in 2021, while the next is scheduled to start production in 2021. These movies will be the first of the franchise to use the technologies given by Pixar in-house. In reality, they used the technology for the original car's picture as well as the very last Cars movie.

But before we get into the technological inventions used in these pictures, let's have a brief look at the background of Pixar itself. This California-based company was started in 1993 by two innovative guys named Steven Spielberg and John Lucas. At the moment, Spielberg was operating on the concept for the movie Jurassic Park. Meanwhile, the Lucas was concentrated on the concept of Star Wars. During this time, neither man had any idea that they would take their thoughts and transform it in the business it is now.

Their revolutionary vision and hard work will finally result in two of the most classic films of all-time. Both of these movies achieved box-office achievement upon their first release. One film in particular, Jurassic Park, caused such a stir that it made a film franchise of its own. The theme park experience revolved around a bunch of genetically altered dinosaurs which jeopardized the existence of humankind. The other film, Toy Story, was equally successful and also won four Academy Awards including Best Picture.

So just how did Pixar get started? The original idea came from Spielberg. vod box and his spouse, Jobs wanted to make a computer-animated attribute that revealed the effects of artificial intelligence interacting with the natural world. Through advancements in technology and research, they managed to successfully accomplish their goal. Today, the company is famous for creating computer animated movies and computer images.

As one might expect, Pixar managed to expand their company due to their popularity. They now have two product lines. While they provide the similar characteristics and storyline, they vary in the way in which they are presented. They also supply the help of many screenwriters so that supervisors and producers can co-write the stories.

Essentially, Pixar is about creativity and business. Its ability to bring exceptional entertainment to life has made them famous. Whether it be computer graphics or first films, the business has set the bar for cartoon.
