I have had a mother, lost a mother, and then gathered many special women who will stand by me as a mother figure. I have miscarried, given birth, and raised step children. I've had incredibly intimate and wholesome home births, baby back packing adventures, and lovely bedroom snuggles. I’ve had heartbreaking cries, gut wrenching groans, and desperately lonely moments. Motherhood is the hardest and best thing I've ever done. Each day is a new beginning, one where I carry it all with my best foot forward.
