There's yoga gurus and then there's flexible women like Julia Gunthel, a contortionist and yoga practitioner whose stage name is Zlata who hails from Russia, and she just happens to hold the title of the 'world's most flexible woman'. You get the feeling that getting a Yoga Lesson From Zlata might just drive you round the bend.
Even at age of four Julia Gunthel's kindergarten teacher noticed that she was an unusually flexible girl and after being trained as a gymnast she moved from her birth country of Kazakhstan to Germany and that's where she began her new career, performing as a contortionist.
Julia Gunthel is now a Guinness World Record holder and as flexible women go, the actual medical reason she is so bendy is because her ligaments are still just like an infants. Guinness World Records comment that "Some scientists use the term “hypermobility” to describe unusually unrestricted joint movements, and Zlata has certainly demonstrated that she is extraordinarily flexible by setting multiple Guinness World Records titles over the years."
In this recent video above Julia Gunthel sets a record for the Most flowers picked up with the mouth in a contortion back-bend in one minute, achieving a staggering back-breaking six. She picked up roses measuring 50 cm in length and placed them in a vase in front of her.
And if that isn't incredible enough Zlata has gone on to better her record, accomplishing a staggering total of 11 while on the set of Chinese TV channel CCTV in a Guinness World Records Special in Jiangyin, Jiangsu, China last year.
As well as a gymnast, Zlata has also joined the circus, and currently makes a living modelling, acting, doing performance art, and generally wowing people with her epic bendiness and flexibility. Be it nude or clothed she can contort herself into positions that will make your own joints hurt in sympathy.
In fact as the most flexible person in the world, Zlata can perform party tricks that are impossible for ordinary people to do, one such trick involves her squashing a balloon between her back and her butt (see video below).
And don't even go there thinking about the flexible sex positions.

A contortionist who recently split from her husband says she hopes her new calendar featuring a series of eye-watering photographs will help heal her broken heart.
Russian-born former gymnast Zlata, 29, posed in leather and lingerie to adopt a series of poses that seem to defy every law of biology.
Zlata, real name Julia Guenthel, is 5ft 8ins and used every opportunity in the 12 images to demonstrate her incredible flexibility in the pictures which she hopes 'emphasise her charms'.
Former gymnast Zlata wears racy outfits and poses in an array of shapes for her 2016 calendar which see her showing her suppleness and is able to bend backwards at a 90 degree angle, so the back half of her hands touch her feet even while wearing stilettos
Her flexibility is demonstrated on each image of the calendar and many have glamorous outfits such as this latex lingerie with long tumbling plaits in her hair
She said: 'After this year's separation from my husband, I wanted to emphasise my charms in the new calendar.
'That was the idea for my new calendar.'
Zlata, who now lives in Germany, is able to create astounding shapes with her body and is so flexible she can cram herself into a 50cm square box.
One of her favourite acts is to bend backwards at a 90 degree angle, so the back half of her hands touch her feet and she can also peer through her own legs from behind.
