Are there any nurses who are members here who would admit that they enjoy giving enemas to attractive patients? Or are there any members here who have had experiences where they were given an enema by a nurse who seemed to enjoy giving the enema?

I lubricate his anus inside and out, using a rubber glove. Then ten inches of tubing is inserted slowly and three quarts of warm soapy water injected. As the fluid is running in, the patient's stomach is massaged to relax the stomach muscles. The tube is clamped and he is placed on a bedpan. Again massaging the patient's stomach, I slowly remove the tube.
My patients tell me they have had enemas before, but admit they prefer my method. Most nurses enjoy giving enemas to young male patients who are not seriously ill. …”

I myself had an experience when I was 19 recovering from an appendix operation. I was given an enema by an attractive middle aged nurse and I have no doubt to this day that she was actually enjoying the entire enema procedure.

Would that nurses who enjoy enemas themselves and giving enemas to others were not only more plentiful in real time medicine, but more out in the open about it. One can hope.

My ex-wife from my younger years was a LVN nurse. She had worked in Hospitals, Dr.'s offices and nursing homes and had given countless enemas! She had given so many over time that they were very 'routine." Once she told me of in a hospital having to give a young guy of about 16 or 17 an enema one evening as prep for some procedure. She said he was quite apprehensive about it all but she assured him it would be "OK." My Ex was an attractive lady and had a warm smile. As she told the story in the end she said that he,"Liked it!" Over all I wouldn't say that she "liked" giving enemas but I'm sure that some were better than others.

I have to say I am not in agreement with you at all analee.
I love my job, I love being a nurse, I love doing the things within my skill-set as a nurse that I am legally licensed to do, one of which is injections, temps, and yes, that includes rectal temps as well, and enemas and suppositories.
However, with that being said,.....when I am clocked in I couldn't give two craps about my patient being good looking or not. As a matter of fact, I can even go as far as saying that I have never had an attractive patient. I can say this because when I'm at work, I'm all business.
The only pleasure I get from giving the above mentioned things to my patients at work is that I know that they are getting the best care they can, that I am skilled very well and know exactly what I am doing, and that I am doing what I have to do for and to them to fix and heal them.
Any good nurse will tell you, it's not giving the enemas that's the enjoyable part, it's knowing that you are doing something to heal them.
In my opinion there are no such things as attractive patients or unattractive patients, there are only patients.
And the thing I absolutely enjoy and love the most, is saying good-bye, knowing I have done the job I love and was made for.
But hey, you know, that's just me. I could be the exception, not the rule?

We spoken of this already a lot of times and I can confirm you again, knowning personally a lot of nurses and docs, that yes, there are many medical professionals, docs and nurses, that enjoy to do it and also they appreciate to operate on a nice patient.
Obviously a good nurse/doc, when doing her/his job, absolutely don't must show this and don't need remark it to his patient.
Thinking this way in silence, discretely and if this doesn't inteferes in the procedures and professionality is not really a problem, even because nobody is able to enter your mind, lol
This happen every time that your eyes look at a person, that you are a nurse or not, that you are working or not ...
And also the discussion of this between colleagues, obviously not in presence of the patients, in the hospitals it's not so rare.
This way you don't take it too seriously, specially in this place.
The important things in realty are others, like for example don't do mistakes, thing that unfortunately, does happen every day in all the job and for the more various reasons.
With the schedule most of them keep, they're probably too exhausted to care.
As a nursing assistant back in the late sixties, I found that I enjoyed giving enemas to patients. They were always for constipation or prep for x rays or surgery. Some days I would go home and have to take at least one 2 qt enema to relieve the sexual feelings brought on by giving those enemas. I never had any other contact with those patients but one man did say, "You really know how to give a good enema."
A good nurse/doctor must make her/his job as well she/he can do! But never for a patient is attractive or not! Good professionals only worry with good procedures and good results!
Like a patient I never want to think that can be received better treatment if I am attractive or not!

Well, it is like this. Most days you are short staffed, too many demands are made of your time, everyone wants/needs you at once, and the phone never stops ringing and the discharges and admissions just keep coming. So, if you have an order for a SSE and the person happens to be attractive ... go for it, and enjoy it. After all, what you have put up with all day, you deserve it.
Sherri of Sherema told me that she got the idea for her Sherema Clinic while she worked as an LVN and had many of her patients to whom she had given enemas offer to pay her for enemas after they got out. Also,as many observant nurses have noticed,many of her patients were intensely aroused by her enemas.I can tell you from experience that she had the "touch"!
I've been in the hospital only twice in my adult life but I have been an enema lover for a long time. Unfortunately I have never had one administered by someone else including my parents. When in the hospital, I fantasized about being given an enema by a nurse most of whom were quite attractive. However, when I became concerned that because of my condition one might be ordered I became anxious and hoped that it would not be necessary. As it turned out, an enema was never necessary and I still regret it. 😢 I would have loved to have one administered by someone else.

As I sit here right now, it's certainly erotic to fantasize about a nurse who enjoys his/her duties and performs them with a bit more,um...hidden enjoyment...But if I ever end up in a hospital, I truly hope that I will encounter professionals such as Mashie and Switchablesusie.
For the most part, it's "paint by the numbers." A nurse gets an order, carries it out, and there's little other time for attending to patient arousal. That's not to say that some nurses don't enjoy that task, but from those I know, there is more often a distinct desire to give some crotchety guy a high and faster filling just for spite. But even that isn't according to procedure and could get them into trouble. Plenty of nurses enjoy taking care of attractive men, just as many male providers enjoy taking care of attractive women. Depends upon that relationship.
Frankly, most of us are so busy that we don't take time to think about our patients except on a professional level. I'm sure that after the shift, home, resting, some of us will have a thought like, "that was a cute bottom," or "that guy had buns of steel."
While they may or may not have been nurses by profession several colon therapists clearly enjoyed giving colonics and enemas. One was the late Mildred Burgess in Boston, who gave some of the best enemas, had a pretty good selection of equipment and talked me into enemas rather than colonics early on. I was in my 20's at the time. Later on I had two therapists, one in Los Alamitos, CA and one in Palm Springs who asked if I was into the sexual side. Once I told them I was the nature of the sessions changed....

She told me she could give me a clear water enema, but I shouldn't mention getting more than three, so I said fine, but that I had been given enemas before and my capacity was more than 1500cc, so she gave me the 1500cc and asked if I could take more! I said yes, so she refilled the bucket about 2/3 full and gave me the rest. After she checked that time she told me I had done very well and again asked me not to tell anyone I had gotten more that 3 enemas. On her way out of the room she commented that I really seemed to like enemas... I replied I did, I never saw the young woman again.
While im sure most enemas were given professionally, i expect many nurses were aware of the enemas effect on people, i have been in hospital before, and years ago i heard a nurse jokingly say to a nearby patient he would be getting an enema if he didnt get to have a bm soon.
Unfortunatly, i never got to have an enema in such a situation, although ive recently had a barium enema from a nurse while a female dr looked on.....she , the dr, had red hair and looked great........whats not to like ??
I myself have never enjoyed it. Work is work and it's all about the patient getting better. I separate work from play. That even goes as far as if I suggest an enema to a friend I have been intimate with. It's like my mind switches to get them better.
I had a home care nurse after being hospitalized. I was 22 at the time. She was only 23. She was lubing a tube from a filled hospital bag when I asked her if she liked giving enemas. I remember what she said. "I'm satisfied if this cleans you out and makes you comfortable."
Honestly, I see no interferences between professionalism and personal preferences.
The professionalism of Joseph B. Strauss is out of question, nevertheless I'm willing to bet that he has felt more pleasure in designing the Golden Gate Bridge rather than in other of his projects, such as the Longview Bridge (or even - why not? - the kennel of his dog).
When I was in grad school I worked as an orderly/aide and was asked to give enemas from time to time, particularly to younger male patients. I can say that there were times when I did enjoy being asked to give an enema prior to a procedure but I really had to contain it. All in all it just confirmed my own enjoyment for giving and receiving. There were some very quick trips to the rest room or changing room after giving a good looking guy an enema and seeing him get aroused as some did. Those were the days.
Yeah I'd have a hard time expelling some really nasty stuff in front of a good looking nurse even though I know they're conditioned for it and it's probably very routine for them. It's a matter of dignity for me and certainly if I had a choice I'd rather not do that.
As a side note, once in the hospital not too long ago I had a very attractive nurse remove a Foley Catheter from you know where and it hurt but she was very professional. Somewhat took the pain away.
I have been impressed that very few nurses enjoy giving enemas in real life. It takes time away from other work. I don't think they are squeamish about doing it anymore than I am about doing the things I do as an ER physician. I think that they mostly want the treatment to work as quickly as possible and the patient to feel better.
Years ago I had prostate surgery, (the old fashioned way.......I was field dressed). The surgery was on a Thursday and on Saturday the nurse asked if I wanted shower.....hell yes I did when we were in the shower she placed the catheter bag on a stool and told me to remove my gown. It was then I realized she was not leaving the shower.....if she had, thinking back, I would have panicked. Bottom line they have seen it all and while we think we are different we are all gender wise built the same. I am thankful for nurses because after the slicing is done they are our road to recovery. The nurses I encountered would do anything to make your life better including enemas.......I did not need one, but the drugs they offered were effective. I have more compassion for nurses and teachers than any other professions.
It never ceases to amaze me how many ways people fantasize about what medical professionals think about when doing their job. This is especially obvious because of the Penthouse Letters origin of this thread. Penthouse Letters is well known for its factual information - not.
Medical professionals think about their job. You are a patient, nothing more, nothing less.
