The combination of VEN and azacitidine (AZA) has changed the paradigm of treatment of newly diagnosed (ND) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients ineligible for intensive chemotherapy. There is scarce evidence for the use of VEN-AZA for relapsed or refractory (R/R) AML.
VENCLEXTA® (venetoclax tablets) is indicated in combination with azacitidine, decitabine or low-dose cytarabine for newly diagnosed AML patients ineligible for intensive chemotherapy due to age or comorbidities. See full safety and Prescribing Info for more details

Zenci literally means black person, and it was never associated with racism. Lately, some people started to pick zenci as a translation of the Word 'nigger' due to the lack of an equivalent word and forced a negative meaning to it. What is AML? In acute myeloid leukemia (AML), abnormal changes stop very immature white blood cells called myeloid blasts or myeloblasts from becoming mature blood cells.
