She was one name on a list of over 100 celebrities - including Jennifer Lawrence - that were said to have their private nude photos leaked online.
And although Yvonne Strahovski has publicly said the images claimed to be of her are 'fake', she's still not afraid to slam the culprits behind it.
'It's disappointing and it's frightening, I think,' she told the Daily Mail Australia in an interview on Thursday.

'We live in a society where nothing is sacred.
'It's sad that people will invade someone's privacy - and this is not only regarding someone's private photos - but this goes deep into people's financial privacy, their passwords, their emails, their text messages.
'The bottom line is it's just such a crime, it's a criminal act.
'Hopefully these people will be prosecuted and it is being investigated by the FBI so it's a very serious matter.'

In the pictures the hackers claim are of the 32-year-old, her face is never shown - leading many to believe Yvonne's assertion that the images are fake.

But it's back to business for the blonde Australian star, who is visiting her home country for the first time in one and half years to promote 24: Live Another Day.

Still remaining down-to-Earth despite her Hollywood breakthrough and now being based in LA, she even brought her parents with her to her Aussie interviews so she could spend as much time with them as possible while spruiking the DVD release.
Strahovski plays tough CIA agent Kate Morgan in the series, which returned to be a ratings smash after four years off the air.
'It’s very daunting when you’re coming on to a show that’s had such a successful life,' she said of the popular television franchise.
'And the fact that it had been off the air for four years and we weren't really sure how it was going to be received.'

It's not the first time she has played a tough female role - both physically and mentally - with her first shooting to fame in the US playing a spy on action comedy series Chuck.
They're the kind of roles she has become synonymous with - including a part on Dexter - and she said she loves being the go-to girl.
'These roles seem to come to me and it's great to be able to play strong females,' she said.
'I get mothers and parents of kids coming up to me who watch shows like Chuck and are thrilled have a great role model in that character.

Murderous minds: She also had a guest role in serial killer show Dexter with Michael C. Hall
Fan favourite: Her part as Sarah Walker in Chuck was a tough, intelligent and complex one
'It's nice to see more those meaty female characters emerging because so often in the industry it's always about the males.
'Though in the last few years I have thought that the female side is rising with films like The Hunger Games and within the Marvel universe.
'It's starting, it's getting there and we just need to make it more equal for women.
'I always get told that I have a formidable energy so people seem to gravitate towards putting me in those roles.'
