Range Description: Yucca neomexicana occurs in Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma (Hess and Robbins 2002). The New Mexico Yucca (Yucca neomexicana) is thinly scattered between northwestern Cimarron County, Oklahoma, the extreme northeastern corner of Union County, New Mexico and the southeastern counties of Las Animas and Baca in Colorado (Webber 1953, Hess and Robbins 2002).
