What have I changed about myself over the past year? My commute. It's amazing how empty the train is going to work right now. A train ride lasting one hour used to be filled with people. However, now there are only 12 people per train car. Everybody works at home remotely or has no work. This is another devastating result of the epidemic. It was obvious that I could not change to work remotely. My job requires hands-on training with equipment that can be accessed remotely, nor brought outside to take home. I work remotely from my home.
I've been able to access tutorials and other instructional manuals in the privacy of my train rider status. The website offers a wealth of tutorials on a range of topics. They explain everything from creating shadowed circles using Adobe Photoshop to stacking hundreds of effects, rendering 3D models that reflect chrome and chrome. Some of it is unfathomable to do at home, yet I can follow the instructions and recreate desired effects. Even though it's entirely computer-related, I apologize for any confusion. I'm not learning how Ikea furniture works together or how to improve customer care.
It was around 12 years ago when I discovered how grout and tile could be applied to floors and walls. I did it fully with YouTube tutorials and videos and our bathroom has been great with brand new floors and walls, brand new plumbing fixtures and fixtures, new toilet and new flooring bords, basically new everything.. The bathroom is stunning, and I have never felt more confident in a bath. It's the best sensation in the world! I think so. I completed it within 8 years. I was on my own and learnt as I went, about 2 dozen tiles were broken before I realized that tile has to be scored, and then special an angular breaker must be used to break it along the scored cut.. However, it was very helpful in cutting short and narrow tiles pieces.
youtube dowload I'd go to the Youtube video downloader site to save an mp4 file onto a laptop. I would then set it up in the bathroom and start playing video, while trying to apply the knowledge that I had accumulated to this task. I do the same similar thing with my tablet. I keep it with me on the train, and I can watch incredible tutorials that can keep me entertained for hours. CSS is now my favorite companion. It's the JS tricks I struggled to grasp. I can now ninja-kick people even when they don't think about it. This channel has given me numerous ecommerce suggestions. Can't wait until I get off to play with these tips and tricks at home.
Dailymotion and Vimeo have many great educational videos. If the content isn't crucial, I can make podcasts of a few of the videos. I can also download them as mp4 to my laptop. This lets me continue the tutorial, pretending they are tutorials. Remember that downloaded files are typically stored in the browser downloads directory. Many browsers save on the desktop as well as open folders with a shortcuts, however you may need to be a bit more patient. I certainly do.
