Next Scheduled (EQC) Adult Care Home Basic Training
Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we are all forced to make a decision concerning, being in close contact with others who are infected or we may be carriers of this virus. The colleges I instruct through, Portland (PCC) and Mount Hood (MHCC) Community Colleges, are closed until mid April, when their Spring Term is starting. At that time, they both will, only be offering on-line Classes.
Unfortunately, PCC had already discontinued offering their face to face (in classroom) option. We planning on developing a Hybrid class, soon and hope to be ready for Summer Term.
MHCC has suspended it’s face to face (in class) offering until this pandemic is under control and the public is allowed back on campus. HOWEVER , MHCC WILL continue to offer it’s online class. It has been onging for many years, but after the previous instructor’s retirement, I took it over. I have recreated a new program that I am very proud of. It is user friendly, interesting, and humorous. Forget your past experiences, or preconceived notions about online classes. I will help you through the process.

American Heart Association gives you the opportunity to take the visual (DVD set) online at your leisure. Then you must locate an AHA certified instructor to monitor the skills test. We may be able to do that via zoom. Currently, due to the physical nature of CPR, I am only offering this via zoom for people that I have done in person, in the past.
