Sergiy Mykhalkiv was born in 1975 in Lviv. Professionally engaged in photography. He was teaching the art of photography in several photo schools. In 2017 opened his own photo studio "RedLight”. Two-time winner of the annual contest of the “Playboy” magazine, 2008 (1st prize) and 2012 (2 prize). Winner of National Union of Photo Artists of Ukraine Contest "Photo Portrait" (3d prize), 2009. Winner in "Cannon" online competition in 2012. His works are in private collections in the UK, Germany, USA, Poland, Russia, Ukraine. Some works were bought by Pinchuk Art Centre, (Kyiv). Since 1998 Sergiy Mykhalkiv takes photos of his muses – beautiful naked women, inspired by the relaxed charm and natural beauty of the female body, which so admired by artists of different eras. He says that the genre of his work is not erotic. Mykhalkiv likes the definition, which gave him his colleague photographer about his style – it is the intimate portrait. By taking off clothing – woman removes her heavy social status and becomes such as it was created by nature. And at this moment, using his own boudoir situation created in the studio, well known Lviv photographer Sergiy Mykhalkiv creates his photo compositions – the stories from the boudoir.

Few men's magazines are as iconic, or as (in)famous, as Playboy. It was founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner, who had to borrow $1,000 USD from his mother to get the magazine up and running.
The magazine has been responsible for launching and promoting the careers of thousands of models over the years, and a number of them agreed to pose for a new series of pictures years after they'd first appeared between the pages of Playboy. Spanning three decades, from Miss March 1954 to Miss January 1979, the models were snapped by photographer Nadav Kander for a recent feature in New York Mag.

Is it just me or the girls in Playboy were more natural back in the days?
It's not just you -- women were more "natural" previously. It's amazing how different the various decades look. You'll also see differences in the various countries where Playboy is printed. Very regional, and very different. I know this because my husband and I used to look at large news stands/bookstores for the imports -- the images were usually much more enticing to our eyes! :)

well not to burst the delusional beauty bubble, BUT certainly they've had quite a lot of "aesthetic jobs" done on them...
There is an odd resemblance in the more recent pictures to of all people, Cait Jenner. Really. Check #3 and #6.
