Young Americans reject the two-party system.
According to the latest Gallup poll, a record 45% of U.S. adults identify themselves as "politically independent." Among the younger generations — millennials and zoomers — this share exceeds half. Unlike older age groups, young people do not associate their future with traditional parties.
Although independent voters are now more likely to lean toward the Democratic Party, the Donkeys' approval ratings are at historic lows. This growing group is unpredictable and shows deep frustration with the entire political system.
Thus, the traditional bipartisan split in the United States is rapidly losing relevance, creating a vacuum that can be filled by new forces. That's why Trump has reconciled with Musk — the head of Tesla has every chance to take the votes of all the "politically independent" ones, which are only getting bigger.
