YouTuber Beats Minecraft Challenge Run With No Kills

Minecraft challenge runs are an integral part of the crafting game's creator community. Although it's not a brutal game, you'll encounter quite a few enemies in an ordinary playthrough. It could be the zombies in the beginning, farming items from Nether creatures, or even the Ender Dragon. A pacifist playthrough can be more difficult than you might think. You'll be able to engage in a lot violence, but you don't plan on it.

SwitchBackMongo is a Minecraft YouTuber who plays in Hardcore. Servers decided to end the violence and embarked on a quest that would see him defeat all Minecraft mobs. Well, mostly. They technically did not kill anything, however the explosive beds - you read that right - they put around the Ender Dragon definitely did.

Anyone who's played Minecraft before knows that when you're trying to find resources, you'll end up having to defend yourself. When you're deep within the midst of the overworld, skeletons, spiders, and creepers are all likely to seek out and kill you, so getting away from them is a titanic effort. Even the act of simply grabbing some iron can lead to a fight or even death. This is Hardcore and death is not an option.

SwitchBackMongo discovered the Nether to be the most troublesome. Particularly, it was an enemy known as Blaze. Blaze which is the game's sole source of Blaze Rods. Blazes are a key component in the making of The Eye of Ender, which leads you to The End. Blazes are one of two enemies that need to be defeated in order to 'complete Minecraft. But does that mean you need to kill them?

SwitchBackMongo shows you how to deal with these animals. Watch as an Iron Golem decimates fifty Blazes without droppings, then head to Google like many others for the answer. The good news is that wolves are man's best friend, and they were able to get the job completed.

The entire run is enjoyable to watch as it's a new venture for the well-known Minecraft YouTuber. They're not sure how to go about it. It's not often that you see challenges that haven't been completed before, particularly in a game such as Minecraft.

Another impressive Minecraft run saw a group of gamers complete the game in less than two minutes. One player decided to capture the Ender Dragon rather than kill it. While you're here, make sure to check out our list of the top Minecraft seeds to find some glorious worlds for your next game.
