YouTube tests new function of comments with a binding to certain time in the video

Google developers continue to improve the video hosting, most popular in the world.

Recently it was declared that now developers test new function which allows to comment on a certain fragment in video that any who watches this video could see the comment devoted to a certain moment. As it is only experimental function, at the moment only the few people have access to the new application version. To learn whether you participate in an experiment, pass into the section of comments on iOS or Android devices and press the Sorting button to choose Timed Beta.

Comments with marks of time can be included by means of the sorting button in the section of comments under video in a mobile application of YouTube. And when this parameter is included, comments will appear as the scrolling strip in the bottom of video moves on time marks. This function is not new, for example, users of the SoundCloud online platform use it already long enough. However for YouTube similar function will be presented for the first time. There is no information on global expansion yet.
