YouTube Catify ("the extension") respects your privacy. This policy explains how it handles data.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, store remotely, or transmit any personal data. It makes no network requests and contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising.

Local settings

The extension saves only your display preferences - whether the cat overlay is enabled and the selected cat size - using your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This information stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Permissions

The extension runs a content script on YouTube (youtube.com) to place cat images over video thumbnails, and uses the storage, scripting, and activeTab permissions solely to provide this feature. None of these are used to read, collect, or share your browsing data.

Third parties

No data is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone.
