Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum Lolita Lempicka for women
Perfume rating 3.97 out of 5 with 346 votes
Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum by Lolita Lempicka is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Annick Menardo. Top notes are Cherry, Star Anise and Ivy; middle notes are Licorice, Violet, Orris and Amaryllis; base notes are Praline, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Vetiver and Musk.
Lolita Lempicka, the first perfume of the well known French house, was introduced in 1997 and with its composition and fairy tale flacon design immediately won the attention and affection of numerous scent lovers. It was created as an ode of femininity presented in a gourmand, sensual and addictive way.
The character of the composition and its design was very successful and became one of the bestsellers in the perfume industry - according to the house of Lolita Lempicka. After 20 years since the first edition, and a few million bottles later, Lolita Lempicka gets a new flacon and a new promo face, the charming French model, actress and TV promoter Thylane Blondeau.
The fragrance composition is recognizable by the intensive licorice accord surrounded with juicy cherries, soft vanilla, praline, and powdery iris. The gourmand character of the fragrance is interwoven with fresh, spicy, herbal and woody aromas that create a fine balance: ivy leaves, star anise, vetiver. The perfumer of the Lolita Lempicka fragrance is Annick Menardo.
Notes:
ivy, star anise, cherry
orris, violet, licorice, amarillys
vetiver, musk, tonka bean, vanilla, praline

The newly designed flacon is slightly changed; the recognizable shape of the apple covered with ivy leaves is now decorated with facets. The bottle received a gold-colored stopper and a pendant with an ivy leaf and two letters L, indicating the initials of Lolita Lempicka. The outer package is in the shape of a heart, also with facets, in white and yellow color. The campaign is photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and the lovely and fairy-tale like dress covered with ivy leaves was designed by Lolita Lempicka herself.
LOLITA LEMPICKA MON PREMIER PARFUM 20th Anniversary edition will be available from July 1st, 2017.

Sampling this for the first time today and something about it reminds me of Le Roy Soleil, minus the cinnamon, bunch of floral and tropical fruit notes in the latter..

I suppose both have base notes of musk, vetiver, tonka bean and vanilla, so this is where i’m picking up on a similarity.

Without comparing it to another scent, I would say I really like this and am likely to purchase a full-sized bottle. I’m not impressed at all by the bottle change however... I heard it was because the new company could not get the rights to the bottle design and so HAD to change it but really what a shame.

I know this is a relaunch? or new launch of an old scent with this version having come out in 2017, but I feel you can definitely smell the old school vibes this scent has and so for the most part the new owners of this brand have achieved this if they were intending to stick with it and not attempt to modernise it.
Oof, the anise ruins this one for me. My boyfriend instantly hated it because of it. Combined with the liquorice and Ivy it's just overwhelmingly, pungent sharp-herbal. In the deep dry down it becomes pretty much vanilla.
It's hard for me to decipher many of the notes while they're still around at the top because of the anise/liquorice/ivy essential oil monster, but I think I get cherry (almost like glazed cherries), violet and nuts. Then we get the powdery florals and vanilla later on. I don't hate it as strongly as my boyfriend does but I'd rather not wear something that makes him recoil!
*I have now smelt the original LL and honestly, they are similar scents. MP really does have the dna of the original the main difference is the dry down and the sweetness. LL is stronger whereas MP is much sweeter, those cherry notes come through heavy. Overall I still really enjoy the MP even knowing that LL is probably more favorable. I truly TRULY wish the brand would stop beating around the bush and just re-release the original formula with the original bottle. I had to purchase a used 50ml original for nearly a 100 dollars off of ebay. Its frustrating because the brand would make a fortune if they just gave us back the OG lolita. People on ebay are content selling it for over 300 dollars and it's such a shame.

REVIEW:
wow, okay I totally get it. this stuff really is magical. I was so looking forward to buying it that my expectations were so high I literally had NO clue what this stuff would smell like other than it is so SO amazing. So my first reaction was "OH WOW" because I have never smelt anything like it. I'm addicted. Instantly addicted. The initial notes are cherry, violet, and ivy, almost like stepping into a forest with dew settling on the leaves. That star anise comes through with the spice, It smells poisonous but in a completely alluring way. Think Uma Thurman's, Poison Ivy. It has this sort of beautiful yet toxic allure to it really. The vanilla comes through later on but DAMN. I am impressed. Seriously, don't believe the hate on this one if you haven't tried the original LL. It will not disappoint at all. Total forest nymph vibes. Earthy and wet yet it the most wonderful way. It makes me want to run through a beautiful forest, eat candied fruits and flowers. Love it so so much. THIS is my new signature scent. Think Forest nymph running through the trees; ethereal, wild, strange and alluring. Maybe it is inferior to the original LL, but for now, since I can't get my hand on a bottle of that, it TOTALLY suffices. You can't miss what you never had before. And since I am ignorant to the scent of the OG, I totally love the mon premier as is!
Just a quick disclaimer: I've never smelled the original Lolita Lempicka. However, if it's even better than this (like everyone seems to think), then all I can say is WOW. Because this is absolutely gorgeous, and it's probably going to take the spot of one of my top 5 favorite fragrances. I cannot get enough of it, and when I've finished the bottle, I will certainly either repurchase Mon Premier or try the "original" formulation (whatever I can find) because it's just that good.

On me, I get the cherry, licorice, ivy, and a healthy dose of vetiver. It's both sweet and green, a perfect balance between the two. Oddly enough, one of the reasons I love this so much is because it reminds me of my favorite movie: Corpse Bride (for those who have seen the movie, hopefully this comparison helps you get a feel for this fragrance). To me, when I smell this I think of the scene where Emily is dancing in the forest under the moonlight. She's dead, sure, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying herself and appreciating how beautiful the night is. The moment is sweet and quirky, but also sad (even a tad moody, like the rest of the film), and I would definitely use all of those words to describe this fragrance: sweet and quirky, yet sad, a tad moody. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this in the fall and spring, but especially in the spring, when I'm missing cloudier days.

I'd say, if you want to smell as quirky as a classic Tim Burton heroine, a mysterious forest nymph, an enchanting green-witch, or all of the above, get your hands on this.
The opening is wonderful – like licorice and anise. I wish it stayed that way. On me, this dries down to a flowery scent reminiscent of somebody’s great aunt. Admittedly, I have an untrained nose and am still learning how to decode perfume notes. But I did have higher hopes for something that has such a cult following. Some of the descriptions in these reviews are just so lovely that I HAD to get my hands on a sample. But after smelling it, I felt both confused and misled. 🧐 Now I realize that the Mon Premier version isn’t the original. Maybe one day I’ll sample the original scent, but this one is headache and gag inducing for me.
Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum opens with a sweet spicy tart liquorish cherry note with anise. After dry down there is a subtle earthy/soil scent with a hint of licorice, but it is overshadowed by the spicy medicinal cherry which continues to dominate. This is headache inducing for me. It's just ok, mediocre, nothing special or unique; Not sexy or alluring.

I had made a huge mistake and thought I had purchased the new Original. What I have is this one, Mon Premier, and I find this one is not quite up to the original. I will have to see if I can actually find a bottle of the actual Original and see how it compares to my original bottle. There is so much confusion with the way things are labelled and how they are advertised when being sold.

This is a decent scent on its own. It does pale in comparison to the original bottles, but people who have not smelled that should give this one a chance.
Like a few others, I bought this thinking it was the original (LL should label this better to avoid confusion). However, I'm not even mad because I love it! Out of the gate, I smell the anise, candied violet, followed by the cherry and licorice accord. Midway and through the dry down, I get vanilla and powder, which lingers pleasantly close to the skin. The anise and ivy keep it from being straight gourmand and gives it an earthy, spicy nuance. I was nervous to try at first due to not having experience with licorice notes, but I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the sweet, spicy quality it brings. This makes me feel feminine, ethereal, and almost "witchy." I imagine a forest fairy clad in a deep purple dress running barefoot. I will look to try the Original LL in the future. Glad to find it is vegan as well.
Great scent, but it doesn’t project. It does last long on skin so it’s a great skin scent. The dry-down is absolutely lovely on me! Very warm and pleasant gourmand dry down. I wish they that it was stronger. I bought this thinking it was the original. It’s not. But despite that something in this is headache inducing when I overspray to actually smell it further away from my skin but I can’t quite put a finger on it. I would never expect this scent to have a nauseous or cloying effect based on the low power of the fragrance. I think the cherry or anise note would have been better subbed for almond note. But as such, I’m going to be giving this away. It’s just not a wow fragrance. I may consider keeping it if I can find a good layering pair.
I think it’s actually really underrated, because of its mothership fame. It stands in the shadows with the new design, which I still don’t understand why would they do that... original bottle is the prettiest of all perfumes EVER. Everything about Mon Premier screams NOT GOOD ENOUGH... but does it really? If you could delete the original from your brain for the moment, it’s really not bad at all 🤷🏻♀️ To be honest, if I let people smell the original and Mon Premier without seeing the bottles and without knowing LL brand at all, they actually like Mon Premier better. And what shook me the most, I did a longetivity test, and Mon Premier actually stayed through the night on my hand, and the original faded before I went to bed. I can’t deny that the original is much more loud, Mon Premier is more subtle, but it actually makes it more office friendly. Not everyone likes the sharpness of the original. Don’t get me wrong, I do love it, but I can’t really wear it to work or else. If you are interested in Mon Premier, you should really give it a try. But try not to think about the original when you try Mon Premier. Give it a chance, it’s actually quite good.
I bought this by mistake from Nordstrom Rack who advertise it as "Signature" and not Mon Premier. Honestly, it smells like if Hypnotic Poison and Lolita Lempicka had a child. It is very licorice forward and actually less sweet than the original and more floral. It wasn't badly priced at Nordstrom Rack. I paid $60 for a 3.4oz bottle. FYI the new LL is the "original" and the box for it is green with a white star. The bottle is the same as mon premier, but has "original" printed both on the bottle and the charm. The new bottle isn't as beautiful as the old, but it looks much better in person than online.
This smells young. It smells expensive but fun and silly. I like this. If I had a budget would I HAVE to have this— probably, not. But it’s worth having because it’s different. The cherry is the top note I smell and then vanilla. Different.
I purchased by mistake....I thought it was Lolita Lempicka original.
why dont they write "mon premier" on the box nor the bottle? They do trick on consumers.just disgusting.

And the scent is far from LL(original).
The scent is very weak. All i catch from Mon premier are cherry, anis and hint of licorice. That's no what I want.
After all, LolitaLempicka was real masterpiece.
I have never tried the original so I can't say if it is the same or not. But I really like it. Violet, cherry and licorice are prominent. It's mysterious, definitely doesn't smell average. It may sound strange but it has a slight resemblance to Poison.Projection and longevity are moderate.
Another one that I have only smelled on other people. I remember not liking the original one....but my tastes and nose have blossomed over the years. I received my bottle today....and it was love @ first sniff for me.
Compared to the original, this one is fore sure "toned down" and "muted"...IMHO. But for me, that's what I needed to happen for me to love this fragrance !! So, I dug threw my stored min bottle and found the original...and did a side-by-side test.....and yes, the original was almost "too much" for me.
Performance wise, the newer version is 1/2 of the original, again, IMO. But...I really love this new version. Just right and just enough. To my nose the licorice is toned down compared to the original....and less sweet....but more powdery..??
Less cherry vibes too. I don't think this smells completely like Guerlain LPRN....nor the original LL.
I still sense a tonka musk vibe tho. I am happy to finally own this.
at a cheap price, bought this for mistaking it as Lolita Lempicka, actually it's Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum EDP, very sweet, licorice plus the cherry double the sweetness. somewhat gives the impressiion of La Petite Robe Noire.

I won't say LLMPP is another bottle of LPRN, for me it's much close to LPRN EDT, a bubble soda, and LPRN EDP is a jam. LLMPP opens with these heavy gourmands and after half an hour it turns to be generally sweet. I will say LPRN smells good, just smells good at the best and this mistaken LL is delicious, not only tastes good but richer in content.

for this not expensive fragrance I pushed all my LPRN flankers back and placed LLMPP as an easy-to-get in my closet. later when I heard LPRN I'll say why not give this Lolita Lempicka a try?

...as long as it's still in the market. LLMPP is boxed in white with an ivy-leaf pattern. an unexpected OOPS! experience. XX
On the official website, the notes listed for this perfume is:

Top notes: Liquorice accord

Mid notes: Cherry, violet

Bottom notes: Labdanum
Disappointing - I thought I was buying the new LL but ended up with this -a weaker version of La Petit Robe Noir which I'm not a fan of. Nothing like the wonderful original LL. Can't stand the sickly sweet medicinal cherry note.
Reformulation of the 1997 version? Nice!
The liquorish opening is all I could dream of, so good. Yammy and pretty and not at all medicinal, just lovely. After half an hour it is all gone, the cherry barges in and I am surprised with the feeling that I already have an exact dupe for that..

I have got some black dresses from Guerlain, and Black perfecto reminds me of this one. Something tells me that Thierry Wasser was trying to recreate Lolita 10 years later in his flanker of La Petite Robe Noire. It is her, out of the woods and on the bike.

That said, to me, Lolita has much more to offer and we are talking warm summer, I imagine there would be a lot more liqourice in fall-winter here and the gourgeous opening will last longer. I am looking forward to it. Meanwhile Loverdose from Diesel gets to shine for its anis/liqourice notes.

I have the so called cold skin and summer is the only time I can experience the typical winter perfumes the way other people do in winter.
Smells like the original Lolita Lempicka but more sweeter and fresher. To me it's fresh spicy scent with a bit of sweetness to it.

Lasts about 4 hours on my skill. 8 hours and above on clothing.

I imagine this to be perfect for autumn.
Today I received a Lolita Lempicka Lampe Berger reed diffuser. Here is my review for this Mon Premier Parfum diffuser.
What a beautiful and expensive looking glass sculpture ! It's much larger than I thought it would be when I saw it online. Almost as large as my hand, fingers included.
The fragrance itself is a bit different from the perfume. The Mon Premier Parfum DNA is recognizable, but it's a fresher version of it, centered around sweet violet, cherry and icy anise. It has less vanilla and liquorice, and doesn't smell powdery unlike the perfume. It definitely has a home fragrance smell, and to be frank, it seems like an air freshener note has been added to the blend. It smells clean, like I just cleaned my home, but isn't too sharp, as diffusion is very slow, so the scent is very subtle and never obnoxious.
Don't get me wrong, it is a lovely scent. Maybe I was expecting too much by thinking it would smell just like the perfume. But I'm still very happy to have bought this beautiful diffuser in the end. It's a gorgeous piece of decoration, and the scent is pretty even though it isn't quite like the Lolita Lempicka perfume. Those who like violet and anise will love it.
Oh my, I absolutely love this scent! I have the original and really love that one, but it doesn’t affect my love for this guy in the slightest.

It does have the original DNA, licorice, vanilla, cherry and anise. However, this one is juicier, softer, more delicate and sweeter. The cherry is done so well in this fragrance, it’s tart and edible, it’s perfect for spring and summer nights. The original is more oriental and heavier on the licorice and vanilla, more fall winter leaning. You won’t be able to get the same sillage and longevity from the new one, but the scent is still very lovely if you’re not looking for the exact same scent as the original. I honestly crave this more often over the old one because it’s so much easier t
