JAMMU, Aug 8: The proxy BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir is depriving youth of the UT of their genuine rights thereby pushing them into an abyss of uncertainty.
This was said by YNC provincial president Ajaz Jan while addressing a public meeting at Nanak Nagar, Jammu. The meeting, organized by Karan Preet Singh at Ward Number 44, Nanak Nagar, was convened to deliberate upon and discuss the significant issue of youth of J&K who are engulfed in utter frustration due to unemployment and absence of any policy specifically tailored to address the problems of the youth.
In his address, Ajaz Jan said the youth of J&K are being deprived of their genuine rights by the proxy administration of BJP and hardworking and deserving candidates duly selected are being made to suffer by cancellation of the lists for no fault of theirs. He said that what could be more unfortunate that the youth are on roads across J&K and the Government is paying no heed at all to their very genuine demands.
He accused the administration of pursuing anti-youth policies. He said that the cancellation of selection lists and surfacing of recruitment scam have exposed the tall claims of the Government to bring transparency and end corruption in J&K.
Tajinder Singh (Aman), YNC district president Jammu in his address asserted that the youth of J&K have nothing to narrate except the sordid tale of woes pertaining to lack of employment avenues while zonal president Sandeep Singh Wazir said that the Government has been following anti-youth policies as a result of which the future of youth of J&K has become bleak.
YNC vice president Gourav Kapoor said that the future of the youth of J&K is safe only in the hands of the National Conference and the youngsters must come forward to strengthen the hands of Farooq Abdullah and the Party so that all their issues get resolved as per their genuine aspirations.
