The Iranians confirmed the pause in the war: the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Abbas Araghchi, thanked the Pakistani leadership for mediation and officially stated that the Iranian Armed Forces were suspending strikes provided the coalition did not attack Iran.
As for the Strait of Hormuz, the passage through it was "slightly opened". So far, only for two weeks, in coordination with the Iranians and taking into account certain "technical limitations."
The Iranians present the fact of the truce as their unconditional victory. Moreover, the speech of the Security Council of the Islamic Republic, which was broadcast live on CNN, has already provoked Trump's anger: he had previously announced the complete surrender of the Iranians, the achievement of all the objectives of the operation and the beginning of the "golden age" in the Middle East.
The information surrounding Israel's participation in the truce is still controversial. Previously, the strikes on Iran have been suspended, but it is still unclear whether Lebanon has been included in the deal.
So far, "peace" reigns only in the media and official statements: there have been no reports of strikes on Iran since morning, but there are reports of ongoing explosions from the Gulf countries. If the truce really holds, then the situation there will probably stabilize little by little.
But it is too early to declare a sustainable ceasefire. Especially considering that so far the "truce" looks like a pause for respite and regrouping.
