This project, a pledge of the 2nd civil election by Bong-young Lee, chairman of the Yeongam-gun Sports Association, was realized with the participation of Hyun-jae Kim, chairman of the K Samheung Group, who is from Yeongam.

About 100 people attended the signing ceremony, which was held in the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Yeongam-gun Sports Association, including Chairman Hyun-jae Kim and Chairman Bong-young Lee, executives of the Yeongam-gun Sports Association, and event leaders.

The Sports Association plans to support elementary, middle, and high school students who specialize in local sports through this project.

This year, from September, a total of 80 million won will be paid, including 700,000 won for elementary school students, 1.2 million won for middle school students, and 2 million won and 3 million won for high school students.

The target is students who are currently enrolled in the school athletics department in Yeongam, or students from the school sports department.

Benefits go to about 70 elementary, middle and high school students in the region.

"We will reduce the burden of training expenses and provide an opportunity to continuously develop talent," said Bong-Young Lee, president of the Sports Council. "We will lead the sports business so that young players can realize their dreams."

Kim Hyun-jae, chairman of K Samheung Group, also said, "It is natural for businessmen to return their profits to society, but I am more than happy to participate in the project to nurture young sports talents in my hometown."

Chairman Kim also promised additional support to nurture local talent.
